I am doing absolutely nothing, again. My wife had a cold/flu that really knocked her for a loop. I guess she felt cmpelled to share it. I have the Queen Mother of all head colds. Yesterday I slept for 12 hours (9 to 9). Woke up for an hour and slept until 5:00 this morning. Today is better, but my nose is still running like a faucet.

I am drowning it with massive doses of water and massive doses of Vitamin C.
Ditto that!

First time I have been sick in more than 4 years. Love Nyquil for times like this.

.....We're getting close to having an emergency up. We only have enough bacon to make it through Friday morning.
This is one of the things that drives me nuts about prepper/survival fiction stories. Everybody gets up and eats copious amounts of bacon every morning. Not going to happen. There isn't that much bacon on a pig, and those big groups of people eating like pigs will have a a big stock pile cleaned out in days.

....Waiting for my ambition to show up... Chuckle..
I also have to say ...my git up has got up and went...

Out yesterday in the 5F cold.. Had a couple errands that had appointments.. Todays high 15F, gloomy and calm.. Took Tylenol last night and slept in big time today, bad hips, knees, ankles complaining to the max.. Predicted 6"+ snow through Saturday.. Doesn't matter, no where else to go or nothing to do..

OK, got the snowblower out and almost immediately got it stuck. My Jeep got stuck trying to pull it out. We did a lot of digging then pulled it out with the tractor.

It was meant as a joke. If I run out of bacon we have lots of sausage. If that runs we have tons of Spam. We have well over a year of food on hand. And that's not counting all the food on the hoof running around here.

🤣 I didnt know bacon was necessary for survival! I haven't bought any in months , how much time do I have left until I starve???

Not today, but yesterday. I finally got to see a neurologist after waiting over 6 months. Nice lady doctor, and I couldn't understand a word she said. Ordered an MRI and told me to come back in May.

After that we went to see some friends who have a small alpaca ranch, and got some of their comfy socks. They have several great Pyrenees dogs that guard the alpacas. They act super vicious, but if you pet them they won't let you stop. LOL I bet the three could take down an average bear.

Then had lunch at a diner on route 66, my wife's BLT was good, my patty melt reinforced why we eat at home. $30 meal that was $18 and included a shake, last time I was there.

I haven't felt well since and about 3am I started having heart arrhythmias, which are still going on, so didn't get anything done today. I have one of those Kardia EKG monitors which helps so I know if I'm going to have an heart attack. I highly recommend them, about $79 on sale. I have the upgraded 6 lead version but I don't think it's necessary.

I have an arrhythmia too but not that bad at least any more. One pill seems to do the job for the most part and keeps the blood pressure reasonably normal. Hope all is well.

I'm sorry, it wasn't meant as a reflection on you or your pantry. I am not even sure how to go about getting my foot out of my mouth.

Not meaning to be critical, but... try firing-up the snowblower to clear a path. ;)

All joking aside: Looks like good fun. I've done stuff like that and said "This is fun for me"

When I got the snowblower hooked up it wouldn't start, dead battery. I was taking down to the shop to work on it. By the time I got it running it was getting late. I'll try it out in the morning.

I knew a man who had something like that snowblower, it was a nightmare. The idea for function was basically sound, with a twin cylinder Honda engine for power and could be mounted on practically anything. Problem was that it's over complicated with electronic circuit boards and whatnot. It was a failure, I wouldn't be surprised if the company folded. Hope you have better luck.
