Going to my P. C. physician. Gotta see what the spinal - pelvic problem could be. Hoping to get an X-Ray & some Tramadol. It’s starting to affect my right leg. Trying to catch it early before it has a neg. draw on my mobility.
Our chiropractor is also a neurologist- so effective!

Thanks for reminding me that I’ve yet to prune mine.
That mention was also to myself. I have trees in the orchard that need done if I don't want to loose years of shaping. Pears are the worst. Every water sprout wants to run to the sky.

A standing dead tree came down across my access path to the orchard. My brother has our chainsaw. I will have to make an appointment with him. Busy guy he is.

And me, need to prune my elderberry and the figs.

Why would two mountain laurels, maybe it was three, all turn brown, the first one two years ago, the second started about the same time but was the biggest and completely died last year early, then this year the third is dead. I often have thought the neighbors sprayed them with something. I will never know unless someone convinces me it was a disease or blight.
Anyway, I've got to get that last one out.
Car troubles. Today I finally paid to have the lights and one of the tires worked on. At least my dash warnings are cleared. lol I think they're being very fair to me and the prices don't seem as high as I thought they would be. In fact, not high at all. Big favors.

snowing like crazy outside, probably already 5 inches, not looking forward to today
Animal care first, hope the tank in the barn is not frozen again already but it is not as cold as it was in January so hopefully not
Son stayed home to work from home on some paperwork, there is no way he could have gotten his car down the mountain most likely, but he asked them yesterday and it is ok for him , no construction getting done in this weather anyway
I hope it doesn't stay on the ground long, will go shovel between house and barn in a minute here so we can drive the Ranger down but it is pretty good even without chains. I want to shovel so the snow doesn't get compacted and turn to ice and stay for weeks like last time some of it

animals taken care of, freaked out a little because Otto was missing. We take him out with us when we take care of the animals. Today he was just gone. Went back up to the house, and LOL, he was IN the house, son let him in. I guess he decided he really didn't want to be out in this much snow and went back up to the house

No pigeon feathers today, I guess the hawk got enough to eat a few days ago, or took it along

shoveled snow down to the barn, I did one side, husband the other, but the Ranger handled it well . There is no ice ( yet)

Today... I sold my first item on eBay - at least the first in the longest time. It could be the beginning of a good thing. I have a good track record but it's been awhile since sold anything. eBay does work, but sellers have to be dedicated to proper descriptions and following through with delivery. I'll probably do alright. But.... the money still ain't in the bank.... still.... I have enough resources.... my dog won't go hungry while I'm getting screwed through the unemployment system. End rant, and those unemployment benefits that I've been screwed out of might save you tax payers a few dollars - sunny-side.

It's up to 3 degs now so I guess it's time to start the chores. I went out early and checked to see if the snowblower will start, yep it started right up. It's only 32 degs inside the shop so the engine thawed out overnight. After chores I'll transfer the diesel from my truck to the bulk tank. I'll pick up another load of diesel tomorrow and that should last until the end of April, depending on how much sun we get on the solar panels.
We're going shopping down south tomorrow to get stocked up before the next storm hits on Thursday.
We've had snow on the ground here since late October. Once it snows it doesn't melt off until spring. It seems strange when we go down south and there's no snow or ice on the ground and we can walk normally.

We sell on ebay. It goes well when we spend time working on it. I think it's something to do with their algorithm. It shows our items more often when we stay at it.

I've read your posts about it, as limited or obscure as they were. For me it's about particular items (and somewhat rare, but still popular) that have been selling and continue to sell. That's not an algorithm... it's eBay using me as a seller so they can make some money, so yes - it works for me. As long as I pay my dues and kiss their ass.

Edited to add: In the sense of what I've bought and now selling.... I'm making money re-selling. Unless you consider inflation. But hey.... it was like putting money in the bank and then giving someone else a cut to get my money back. Good times. lol

Congratulations on your eBay sale, hope it works into extra income for you (at this point any income)! A glimmer of hope!!

I learned when I'm buying something to scroll down through many many listings....there are some great small sellers who don't make the top!

It is. I do have somewhat of goldmine. Optimistically speaking, as I do sometimes, unless having a bad attitude. and no comment about that.

and my optimistic side tells me that buying - at estate sales - and selling on ebay can be a good hobby and provide a respectable income.

If you sell something that nobody has.... or when the item is offered for sale.... it sells and for good money..... you'll make your way to the top. Me? NO - not me, my story and sticking to it. Seriously..... a few hundred bucks ain't ****.

Good thing I have no plans! 0_o

@OldSchool one of my friends was going to estate sales, flea markets, etc as her side gig and sold stuff on eBay and Etsy.
Downside: her big house was getting full of stuff she didn’t need or want. She would buy the odd lots boxes that were full of all kinds of weird stuff.
However, she did have a vintage lamp that was needed by a movie set so she made a pretty penny off of that.
