Yep, there's school. What is the Wx Reports?
It has warmed up to negative 8. Bus comes in 40 minutes to pickup.
Wx is short for Weather n Reports is something sometimes the School can't get thru, Glad You did, even if it wasn't Good news...!!! Glad She knows Who is still Boss there...!!

Still listing on ebay and finding the pros and cons. And... finding the new kid on the block selling some higher dollar items isn't exactly welcomed by the completion that's established as sellers of those items. Tough cookies.... I'm sure I'll do fine, but will take some time. Ebay doesn't exactly have a good reputation for some things, and I've gone thru a learning curve, and developed somewhat of an attitude. Go figure.... lol

Anyway... life continues to remain interesting. But then something would be wrong if it wasn't.

I have been fussing about in the Hobbit Hole stripping paint from the old beam for the mantel. True to form The Princess decided on a name. She named our three water heaters Tom Dick and Harry. The beam is now named Jim. As in Jim Beam.

She has 40 days left till she retires. Today is the forth day of training her replacement. She has been exhausted after each 8 hour session of getting him up to speed. She has been working for the library for more than 20 years. During that time she converted them from card catalogs to applications she wrote running on mainframes in her office. Now the catalog runs on open source software in a virtual machine somewhere in the clouds. As tired as she may be I suspect her replacement is suffering from cerebral overload every night. ;)

Leaving a trail of cotton shirts, Yes cotton, real winter people wear cotton, cause we know how to layer, Oh did I type that out loud??? (because it is so warm here in the frigid north country )
I use to wear a lot of cotton but I have found I like the more synthetic stuff better with wool. Do layer my clothes but wear shorts most of the year except in the last two and half weeks when it got real cold. Back in shorts with the tropical weather we are now having. Probably hit 37 today. Did already once fell back to 33 but suppose to go back to 37. 40s and 50s just around the corner.

Pressed out more tinctures today, only 1 shelf left to go. Been working on a list of the plants I want to hunt this year, only need 8 or 10 species. Already know where I'll find most of them. Also, gonna add a few new plants to my stocks, most are roots that'll require digging. My old pick axe needs some attention, need a new wedge for the handle.

Started getting ready for the fiddler's convention coming up this weekend, got my clothes ready. This afternoon I cleaned and polished my guitar, put on new strings. Been playing all evening, loving the new strings after playing dead ones most of the winter. Have to get all my electronics charged tomorrow. Nothing left but packing a cooler on the way out the door.

Just watching tv tonight... and picking! 😊

already checked on sheep, no lambs yet, so they might be ok. It's supposed to warm up a little today. One of them has a snot nose, hope they are not getting sick
Had to take son down the mountain on the Ranger this morning, he had to leave his car at the bottom, road is still full of snow and ice. I am surprised the Ranger started, it said -12 celcius on it, not sure why it is in Celcius but that's plenty cold
Now waiting on light to get started feeding and watering everyone. Water heating up on the stove

The couple I was supposed to clean for today are sick. The wife just called me. She also said it's snowing down in town. Sure enough, chance of light snow this morning, but warming up to about 35° later! I have plenty to do around here!! One more day of staycation works for me!!
