What's everybody doing today?

I changed a leaky tire on my forklift, and when I had it apart I added extra cross chains in between the existing ones,(with out bleeding) cause it rides a little harsh on hard ground, maybe I will get a burst of energy and do the other side, but don't hold your breath

Got on the pool float for an hour, 80° outside (60° water). Just getting the pool ready, equipment hooked up, topping it off!! Should be rolling tomorrow or Thursday!! Going out to feed Buddy, everyone else just got fed!! Will have a couple of beers this evening. We might grill burgers and steak!

I slept right through it, I'll nod off again after I eat, I hate this crap!

I have been bouncing between my normal projects. Tending to the greenhouse and planting onion seeds. Stripping paint from the "Jim Beam" for the mantle. Enough to earn my keep.

Got 50lbs of wheat berries stored in smaller liftable containers and put in storage. Made dinner, made some more nine grain bread, about to round everyone up to eat!

Did a lot of homework, went grocery shopping after kid pickup this afternoon. Just got done putting stuff away, next up is cutting apart this massive piece of cardboard my youngest keeps dragging back into the house and trashing it so I don't have to look at it anymore. It has large holes in it and isn't any good for mulching the garden with.

Usual stuff around here, then late afternoon dentist appt for husband and I, so we'll be awhile. We'll be just around the corner from the good barbeque place in the bigger town, so we'll get some of that to bring home for dinner.

Surprise day off! Last night the daughter of an older man I clean for called to say her dad was back in the hospital, he fell again! No major injuries this time, but he's not coming home, he'll be moving to a nursing care facility. He and the family were planning on him moving this spring, just happening a little sooner! One of my older ladies wants his time slot, she is needing extra help, so she'll get it! Today I am taking advantage of the day and working around here! Changing sheets, putting away laundry I did yesterday afternoon, trimming Bear's nails, maybe trimming Buddy's hooves (if I feel up to it today, may do that tomorrow afternoon), vacuuming, stacking firewood Hubby split yesterday, finish topping off the pool and fire up the pump with fingers crossed for everything to work properly! Will run to Tractor Supply with Bear for his food, Hubby has a $10 birthday digital birthday coupon that needs to be used!

It looks like it'll be another fantastic day here today. Actually every morning that I wake up with a heart beat means another fantastic day.
After chores I'll finish changing oil in the tractor. Also need to change oil in my truck, well pump generator and the side by side. While I'm working outside I'll probably smoke a couple cigars too.

Yesterday, I received my kerosene heater and assembled it, feeling satisfied with the setup. Today, my wife and I are planning to walk around the property. She’s excited about our garden and has drawn a map of where she wants to plant various plants. As we stroll, we’ll discuss her choices and measure areas to ensure everything will thrive. I’m looking forward to enjoying the fresh air and helping her bring her gardening vision to life.

Have a chiropractor appointment in a little bit then a couple quick errands, then to the old house one last time to finish sweeping up and dig up some of my plants to bring home.

What are crockpot liners?

Have a chiropractor appointment in a little bit then a couple quick errands, then to the old house one last time to finish sweeping up and dig up some of my plants to bring home.

They are plastic disposible liners that go in your crockpot so you don't have a mess in your crockpot to scrub out. Also dutch oven liners are sold. I don't use them because I don't like the idea of food being heated in plastic because I don't know what leeches from the plastic to the food. Like the rotisserie chickens sold, wrapped in plastic, under the heat lamps. Looks pretty iffy.

Since our road is still impassable we had to cancel our dentist and our eye doctor appointment and another doctor appointment for me. Thats alright. I don’t like going to doctors anyway. They're just drug pushers anyway now days.
We rescheduled for April.

Yesterday: Tried to go to the car wash and the line was soooo long. Car is covered in magnesium chloride. Took a load of stuff to the thrift store. More to go. Going though stuff and carrying loads out. More of that today.
