Fixing to do dishes, then just waiting on storms!!

My cousin brought over the new radiator for the old tractor this morning. Took us an hour to get the old one out. Spent a half hour working through small issues getting the new one in place before… we discovered it wasn’t going to fit, too tall by over an inch. Oh well, cousin will order another one. At least now we know the issues for fitting a modern radiator into a 53 year old tractor.
Went to town after lunch for a few groceries. Stopped at the hardware store, needed new chain for mounting the drag onto the gang disc. $47 for 10ft of chain and a few quick links, more than I expected but had to have it.
On the way out of town I stopped at the Ag store, got 300lbs of fertilizer for the garden. Just resting and watching tv tonight.

Hey, the 50 50 1 protests are happening tomorrow in every state capitol. Wonder what mischief they'll be up to? Newsweek did an article on this, they are protesting Trump's new policies especially those on immigration and govt jobs.

Bear had to pee so I'm up, he's asleep again. Checking and watching the weather, bad stuff coming in a few hours!
Up for real this time, severe storms almost here! All cats had a "hold over" snack, breakfast could be delayed, don't want them starving to death before then! Bear had a Milk Bone and we went back out for a business trip. Warm and windy, thunder and lightning in the distance! Made coffee

Cat care at the shelter this morning, then to Vance Outdoors to look at the flannel shirts they have on sale.
Still drinking coffee and wondering how much storm damage we have!!

I reckon the wind woke me up. Under a tornado watch, high wind advisory and something else….severe thunderstorm warning. Just got that last one. Not looking good for a large area.
LOOK OUT, the winds are INCREDIBLE!!! Rough storms!!

Maybe the power going out woke me up, because we are without power. I do hear distant wind and thunder. Raining now. Hate this.
I don't know how we haven't lost power?!?! Just glad the hail was small!! Keep us updated Patch!!!! Tornado Warning south of Ft. Worth!!
Storms should be through by daylight. If we don't have serious storm damage I'm going to my regular Tuesday job. Hubby is supposed to move a hospital bed for these people. From their house, 40 miles away to her sister's house. But we are supposed to have 50-60 mph winds today. I guess we will see how the day goes!!

We had rain last night, too, but too dark to see what's up out there yet. And here I thought our mud had dried up, ha.

Also need to clean up the hearth and both entrances. The porcelain folks will be here to get the precise measurements later this afternoon.
Our Joann’s is going out of business so I might stop in there to see if I can find some curtain fabric. Our front window is 5’ x 12’ so it will take a bit of fabric.

Well we made it through the storms pretty much unscathed! A lot of branches down, but no major damage, I'm really surprised!! Will head to work shortly, super windy day!!
I feel for you guys in that crazy weather path. So far only weather complaint is it’s overcast. After radiation, a trip to the grocery and the nursery (need more seed starter) are the only off property adventure I’ve got planned. I need to start more broccoli—only 7 came up.

Taking DH to about 30 miles North to see about a Chrysler 300. 82,000 miles, looks great inside, and only $6500. It's a 2006. He's excited!
Not sure about the rest of the day with the storms. Want to write ebay drafts, but not if lightning is near.

The work marathon is almost over. I've done 53 hours in 4 days and I'm just about shot. But we wrap up the project this afternoon and head to Bonner Springs, Kansas next week. I've got an 8 hour drive home and then I plan on sleeping about 20 hours straight...
