Much earlier today, @Amish Heart , I wasn't seeing any new posts of yours and was going to look for you, then got distracted and had to get back to work. Wondered where you were...I'm glad you found out in time. Little ticking time bomb there.
Public announcement: nobody is allowed to be getting hurt and ending up in the ER/ICU, ETC. for like 3 months OR EVER. Nothing worse either. Everybody just behave, right, @Neb ?
I am the youngest of a few and they have all made it past the ages our parents were when they passed away. (Unbelievable).

The community cats turned up, there is a new cat in the area, so things have to
re-equilibrate. All 3 on camera a bit ago.

just fed the bottle lamb and checked on the rest all ok and no new once since yesterday. We had 2 more lambs yesterday from our youngest and smallest sheep but one of them didn't make it, died right after birth. Happens sometimes but sad. The other one didn't seem that great either, but seems ok now, up and nursing. The bottle baby is already a little pest! I was trying to get the newborn yesterday to stasnd up and nurse, and the bottle girl came over and grabbed a few sips. The ewe did not like that one bit of course. I have seen this happen before. Lambs will try to nurse on other ewes while they are distracted , goats do to. They will try to get all the milk they can
Had to put the bottle baby in a different room.
It gets really interesting when you have several bottle babies, they all want to eat at once and I have to lift them up one at a time to feed them or they will knock the bottles out of my hands and nobody gets anything
Large farms with lots of sheep will mostly just let them die, sad but that's what happens. Or they will give them away. Milk goat boy kids will sell for as little as $50, just so they can get rid of them. I try to feed all of our extras and almost all of them grow up fine. You just have to take care of them a little extra. But the milk replacer is not cheap, you definitely do not make any money on this.

Out of bananas and would like to do some shopping but we have more sheep to go and I don't want to go anywhere right now.

They were just out on a recruiting mission 😂

Ha Ha, they're the arteries in your neck.
So I won't complain about going to the dentist. I went last week and they did a panarama xray of my teeth but saw my artery was clogged and told me to see a doc. So I did. And today was an ultrasound. And I flunked that, so I'm waiting for what's next.
I could get kicked off the forum for other things, I'm sure. Ha.
wow that sound bad! Hope you can get it fixed, so sorry

After chores this morning I'm going to put the forks on the tractor and unload the wood chipper off my truck. Then put the feed away. I'll uncrate the wood chipper and assemble it later today. I'll probably play with my new nail gun at some point today too.
We're supposed to get high winds today. That should give me more limbs to run through the chipper.

weather is horrible again today, high wind, ice pellets and cold , checking the sheep hourly to make sure any new lambs are dried off fast. It's not that cold in the barn but colder than the past few days for sure
I am cooking early so that is out of the way
Just when you think winter is over, there it is back again
april 1st
