Like I said a stroke of a pen and anyone could be drafted. It does not list a age in the constitution. I'm not talking about other laws
I believe the age requirement would be adjusted depending on if we're losing.Like I said a stroke of a pen and anyone could be drafted. It does not list a age in the constitution. I'm not talking about other laws
My issue is does the constitution specifically state an age. Not what congress has decided at this present timeI believe the age requirement would be adjusted depending on if we're losing.
My dad lied about his age and joined the Marine Corps at 16.
I'll have to read my constitution again because I don't remember there being an age requirement. This will a good exercise to get more acquainted with the constitution. My issue is does the constitution specifically state an age. Not what congress has decided at this present time
Me too but presently my copy is in my library down a flight of stairs. I recently had surgery and am groundedI'll have to read my constitution again because I don't remember there being an age requirement. This will a good exercise to get more acquainted with the constitution.
Old fart. I worked with a guy at the range that wore a 3% hat. We were talking one day about what would happen if a civil war broke out. I told him that if he dug me a fox hole that I would delay them long enough for him to get away as I couldn’t run very far and not fast at all.
The government has the right to form an army. No draft is mentioned in the Constitution but the right to establish an army implies the right to draft. In WWII Germany drafted young men. As the war progressed and Germany killed off the first batch they broadened the age to from pre teen to anyone that could walk. If things go really bad any government will draft anyone breathing in order to keep themselves in power.
