Anyone else worried about Ebola?

Oh that's interesting, good to know how well the respirators held up!
Apparently I need to do a little more in-depth reading on Ebola, I thought it was air born like tuberculosis, except that one is a bacteria and the other was a virus.

it's eerie quiet about this,like it's gone away permanently, still Nigeria has that new disease which nobody seems to know anything of..and as Northern Raider pointed out,all those illegals coming by boat to Europe seems to be subjected to some kind of Ebola-quick test.

Nope, blood/body fluid transmission. However, like any other such disease, in close proximity, droplets could travel very short distances adhering to moisture in the air, so best to take precautions if working near one with it. Not that any of us would be in that boat.

Personally, I'd be sporting a full hazmat suit if I had to be in the same room with one who has it.

Interestingly enough though, once having and surviving it, you're pretty much immune. So they say. It's why many of the infected docs have gone back, as they allegedly don't have the same risk anymore.
