Reading thru this thread it has changed to meaningless arguing and counterpunching one liner comebacks with not much knowledge being shared...

I think this is caused by how bad the situation in the country and the world is getting to be. Many people can't imagine or don't want to face what could be the coming hard times...I read some of the local area facebook classifieds and see people begging for food or some piece work to get them thru. The rents are so high many are searching for a family home and can't seem to find anything to rent. (altho they insist their 4 cats are just as important at their young children).

So what's the solution? if you are in a situation where you don't have extra money or physical ability and see it as hopeless I guess just do what you do to mellow out,
If you have assets and are able to do things then a forum like this is a good place to discuss and exchange meaningful ideas about what is coming and how best to deal with it.

There are no dumb questions but there sure are some dumb answers. If you have nothing to learn and nothing to contribute and you don't give any credence to what other people are doing just maybe candy crush is your calling....

Never had the flu. Living with the disability from an unneeded flu shot, 8 years later. Stole my life and my job, and took away my full health and fitness. Now, with Trump's return to work order for federal employees, I'll have to take 90 minutes out of my day for commuting, which means I have less (or no) time for rehab to try to recover.

If you are Federal working from home - - and you took the Jab - - which disabled you, to whatever degree - - and you still want to continue working from home - - you can make a case for this with Trump. The Buyouts have closed (in part due to Leftist Judges constraining DOGE/Trump's downsizing efforts) - - but I believe you have a strong case for your disability from the VAX.

I see "hiring' signs all over the place here. There seems to be no shortage of some sort of jobs. At least for now. I think some of the problem is people's spending habits. You do not need the latest Iphone, you do not need to pay for entertainment , you do not need to go out to eat, you do not need the latest fashion, and you do not need to drive a new car either. Stuff like that.
What you do it save as much money as you can when you do have a job so you don't need to do without if you don't

But yeah, the only thing I see in the future here is economic crash due to the debt\deficit. You can't just keep spending money you don't have ( government AND people)

We still have job shortages in Southern Louisiana - - between 40 and 200 people applying for one job.
But we feel all that is about to change due to Trump's policies.
We've been waiting (many suffering) for 4 years. A few more months holding out for the upturn shouldn't be that bad. (We hope.)

It's going to increase the demand for growth in the industries themselves and then all supportive markets.
Instead of there being business (and banks) closing like under Joe Bribem & Komrade Kamala and a vacuum/void, shrinkage - -
it will be a BOOM as we've seen in the past. Businesses across the board will want and promote positive GROWTH
because the rising tide begins to lift all ships. They'll look at the numbers and start again to believe in HOPE for the economy.
More than that - - as it grows... it will dictate a DEMAND for the skilled workers they need to fulfill contracts, etc.
Growth in HOUSING, INSURANCE, FOOD, FARMS, TRANSPORTATION, CONSTRUCTION, you name it.
Everything to SUPPORT the new growth. Don't forget about the support systems surrounding the positive change.
It's why people across the country moved in droves to Florida and Tennessee in the last 4 years - - because those States were
run VERY WELL and weren't hit as hard by the folly of the last 4 years. Those States had their own growth developing.

Demand is already higher than supply from everything from janitors, to doctors. I do think he will create more demand as you say, but its the supply side I don't see materializing.

I will tell you right now....one of our big problems is lack of housing, and lack of workers to make housing, so even when there are people willing to move here to work, they can't afford to live here (countries most unaffordable state) and even if they have money, there aren't enough builders to get a house up.
