He is not home but when to “town” to take care of some routine business then had the stroke while there
Where he is, has no phone, Wi-Fi, cable obit he does have books and is reading lot
This is what I remember of the conversation. So if I bend a fact please forgive me
From what I gather, he had to travel a bit to get to where he could get in contact with me. In order to give me an address to send his shoulder holster
I will not be in contact with him except by mail

Maybe when you do contact him by mail, you could print out the posts wishing him well/prayers. Hoping that would brighten his day.

Yup. North East Texas. East of the DFW area. Our lease here is up November 15, so we are working to be on the road out of here before then if we can. I thought I found a place out in Queen City near the lake but it was taken off the market.

I don't know any of these people, but when I see Weedy's comment about 'quite a history' and having just finished a memoir about a really interesting woman, I wonder does anyone record their stories?

I hope I'm speaking the truth of what she wrote. She was abducted and held captive for a while, maybe a few years. If I remember correctly, it happened in New Orleans. I kind of think she was trapped and went into a bar to ask for help, but they were actually in on it. I want to find her original writing of this, because I don't want to tell something that is not true. And her name, Grizzlyette, was given to her by her brother because the lifestyle she had led was similar to Grizzly Adams.

I suggested it should get moved, but didn't know it would get chopped. Maybe the whole thing couldn't be moved. Sorry for the suggestion, was trying to make sure everyone knew where Caribou is!

when you merge threads the posts get shuffled into order as time posted between the two threads. so it shuffles posts a bit. at least its how i understand thread merges.maybe a mod can correct me if understanding is wrong.

Elkhound is correct. When you merge two threads, it will shuffle the posts and place them in the proper timeline. I should have checked closer to unscramble the posts so it reads clearly, and not out of order. I'm sorry I didn't pay closer attention to the merge.

The next morning he woke up and (I think) could not talk plus other issues. Rushed to see a Dr, (Ambulance word was not used). And head had a stroke
He said he has progressed from a wheel chair to a walker, then to a cane, is now walking on his own a Man L
with the heart of angel
