You need some SERIOUSLY thick skin to swim in those waters.
If the relative few drunks, trolls and jackasses on this forum upset them then the infestation they have happening over there will have them in a fetal position in a corner.

I'd prob be banned in a heart beat over there because my old school Italian temperament wouldn't put up with their crap.
I manage to keep a lid on it here.
Once they start running their mouths and out themselves they get put on ignore.
JUst because I can and will go to war doesn't mean I'm going to.
I have enough on my plate without dealing with pinheads.
AMEN, that what ignore is for.

Posted on FB by a Rodney Norman: Remember that the only thing keeping you from fulfilling all your dreams is patience, perseverance, determination, enormous amounts of disposable cash, well connected friends with influence and power, local zoning laws, the US tax code, the Illuminati, the haunting and crippling self doubt created when a teacher in the third grade mocked your poor singing ability in front of the entire class, the government/alien mind control program designed to squash independent thought among the population and almond Snickers bars and ice cream.

My note: Mr. Norman has hit most of the high notes. My only personal quibble is with his 3rd grade teacher. My difficulty staying on pitch was not sneered at, because nobody in my class could sing a lick.

Happy, will he know & will remember after he knows.
Joe may have one of those loose-leaf notebooks he writes down Spike's contributions in. Like, "Got into Spikedriver for $xxx today! Then he yells: "Bartender! A swig of cheap Scotch for my friends - on Spike!"

See, that way he doesn't have to remember it long. Also, he doesn't have many friends.

Pretty sure he doesn't drink cheap Scotch either. He probably drinks Ensure. Through a straw. While wearing a bib...

Odd just thought about taxes and a job long ago. US steel workers union, welder. I had a nice piece work job welding parts for a train. It was a quota system but in my normal 8hr shift I produced 10hrs worth of parts everyday. Basically a 40hr week in 4 days.

If I worked 8hrs on friday I’d be paid for 10hrs overtime for the week, basically. But, if I took off work at noon on friday I’d only be paid 4hrs OT.

Because of some invisible tax bracket line… Leaving at noon on friday... after taxes I took home $50 more than if I worked all of friday and produced a normal 10hrs worth of parts for that day.

The gubment took every penny of my ot if I worked 8hrs mon-fri. Needles to say, I took friday afternoons off.

I you had been paid $10K per hour as dividends, and hired a tax accountant, you probably could have weaseled that way down. Is why the rich get richer.

Been waiting on health issue answers and trying to keep up with the yard work but falling behind drastically. I wish I could afford to hire help.
Well dagnab it, I wish I lived nearby. I'm still in shape to do yard work, except for heavy lifting. Would cost you a cold beer at lunchtime. !

Dang it! I just joined!
Anybody want anyone trolled without pity? Looks as boring as a Biden speech anyways.

@squirrelhunter not much. Since I started working full time I don’t get much done. Had some crazy weather high temps for a couple of months, fire risk, and flooding yesterday. Same old, same old.
I’m sorry your legs are not doing right by you. Haven’t those squirrels learned how to do the yard work yet?
No they haven't,the only ones I've had close by are those pesky red squirrels a.k.a. piney squirrels and they're all on some good drugs I think . Too bad the ducks and geese haven't 🤣

I think I could swing that, I don't really drink much anymore but I don't mind a cold MGD once in awhile so I could pick up a 6 pack now and then. The last few times I bought any I wound up giving most of it away. It is too bad you're so far away. It looks like I might be missing all of my hunting this year too if they don't get me fixed up soon.

What else do you hunt? Not just the pesky squirrels?

@squirrelhunter How much deer can you take normally? My dad went hunting when I was a kid. My bro would go for rabbit and squirrel, pheasant. My husband found out he was allergic to rodents by skinning a rabbit. Lots of deer in my neighborhood and it is getting worse because the city let the builders clear cut big areas where the deer would hide. So they are “safe” in city limits and it is not a good situation.

I certainly hope I qualify as a drunk, if not I'll have to increase my consumption, lol. I probably qualify as a jackass on occasion, but hey, I'm working on boosting those qualifications!!! My goal in life is to become a fully-qualified & fully-decorated drunken jackass... ;)
