I need to know how bacpacker's supper came out tonight!!??!!
You may end up cooking permanently!!We had Tortilini and smoked sausage. Nothing fancy, but it filled the hollow spot
Do you have a crock pot and a pot roast? That's night one then next night enchiladas, then the next night hash. You got this!We had Tortilini and smoked sausage. Nothing fancy, but it filled the hollow spot
Toe socksI need some rubber boots so I don't have to keep taking my warm fuzzy socks off to put thongs ( flip flops in American) on to go outside.
Going from Uggs and warm zuzzy socks inside to thongs/ flip flops isn't nice and it's PITA having to contstantly change footware to go inside or out.

There's been a forum that has been highly recommended...the sister to this one.
Could I get the name and link for it?
Thanks!

Almost 5 years ago, several of us left another forum to join this one. It is not a sister to this one, but one that many of us are familiar with.
You need some SERIOUSLY thick skin to swim in those waters.
If the relative few drunks, trolls and jackasses on this forum upset them then the infestation they have happening over there will have them in a fetal position in a corner.
I'd prob be banned in a heart beat over there because my old school Italian temperament wouldn't put up with their crap.
I manage to keep a lid on it here.
Once they start running their mouths and out themselves they get put on ignore.
JUst because I can and will go to war doesn't mean I'm going to.
I have enough on my plate without dealing with pinheads.
Pork tenderloin first night is usually with the raspberry chipotle sauce...then pork chop suey the second night...usually no leftovers, but I will make a sandwich with it.We do. One we like from it is a pork tenderloin, first night with veggies, next night pulled pork. We'll survive, just not eat great tasting stuff as regular. LOL
With the maters producing so well I do see a lot of tomato sandwiches in our future. One of my favorites anyway.
Thanks for the ideas ladies.
Isn't that funny. Who was it (my Pa?) used to trade homemade bread for wonder bread. Seems like that was a normal trade for quite a few folks. Hindsight!Pork tenderloin first night is usually with the raspberry chipotle sauce...then pork chop suey the second night...usually no leftovers, but I will make a sandwich with it.
When I was a kid, my mother rarely bought lunch meat. Our lunch meat was leftover meat from our dinners. I used to complain about her roast beef sandwiches and such! I wanted meat like the other kids god. Now, I love pulling out some leftover meat and making a sandwich.

I am a member there, but so are a few others. I know what you mean about the way some of them behave. It is almost as bad as Survivalist Boards, but there are less trolls on that forum because there are less members. You need some SERIOUSLY thick skin to swim in those waters.

Ditto! what's up?Well, I'm posting here because everytime I click on "what's everybody doing today" the site drops me!! So anyhow, I'm up because my dog can't sleep!! Gave him a valarian root, he's finally dozing off. He's not handling the keeping calm after neutering too well. We walked around the back yard on the leash twice in the past hour and a half. He's in his crate and I'm on the couch! Think I'll be able to catch a little shut eye soon. I'm a very light sleeper so I'll hear him if he needs me!
Glad it's not just me! Anyone else having this problem???Ditto! what's up?
Congratulations to him!! Smart move on the insurance! Our teenager passed his driving test!!!!!! I already had a used car for him so we went to the insurance agent to get minimal coverage.
I didn't want to include him on our policy so just him with his own car at 18 years old is about $1500 for six months. More than doubled from a quote I got last year.
