I'll take some at the end of the day. It will be about 4,000 square feet.I'd love to see pics of that pond Chris.
I didn't realize that. I do know that one of my cousins was able to get help from the government relative to a dry creek he kept adding up all the rock he could find on his property, creating a dam (with government help), and then a very good sized lake when it filled in. They have gotten herons, egrets, whooping cranes, geese, ducks, and other birds. Adding in his three shelter belts west of the pond/lake, he gets a fair amount of white tail deer and pheasant on his property. A few years ago, a moose went through the area, which is unknown in the state of South Dakota.I am glad that you can put in a pond without getting hit with the government naming it a wetland area and controlling what you can and must do on the ground surrounding it. Here in Washington the state steps in and controls the amount of shade you have to have, what structures you can have and how close they can be to the water.
So pretty!View attachment 2523 Hard to believe that 24 hours ago the pond was free of ice and the yard had no snow.
That is awesome!!Yay! Finally! Range time with hubby! Trying out my new scope and some new loads in my 204. So excited to be having some time off and decent weather.

Glad you're well enough for some play time with the Hubby. All work and no play makes getting better a less meaningful experience when getting better means that you can do more work. LOLYay! Finally! Planning for 7-9 feet at least. If I go 9 feet I should be getting about 230,000 gallons of water. How deep you going with it?
