Just got in from last check and putting up my sis’s dogs for the night.

Morning @gumpy and @Double R stinking hot outside here in Australia at 5.40pm in the evening, but much better now we have put the shade cloth around the front veranda which keeps the direct heat off the house and the whole house cooler, ahhh.

Shade cloths are amazing!
I hope someday to make it to Australia. I love the wildlife there. Have worked with some here that are wild there. Plus I’d love to see the cattle and ranches.

It's supposed to be thunderstorm here today so no working on the house. Don't know yet.

Yikes! I love watching thunderstorms but don’t like the fires and death they cause.
A few years ago we had a whopper of a year for them. Got a lot of great photos. Thankfully didn’t loose any livestock.

Hugs to @Fort that flu is nasty we had it here during winter and it turned to pneumonia.

@Double R yes there are some huge cattle stations or farms we call them here especially in the outback although a lot are now being taken over by foreign owners in combination with Aussies. We have a number of friends who own smaller cattle stations of around 40 acres. Yes we do have some similar wild plants to yours there too.

That’s right! Cattle stations! I forgot that’s what they are called. So cool!
I’m saddened to hear they are being taken over. Sounds like same thing that’s happening here.
What kind of cattle do your friends have?
I work with a group of emu’s here. I would love to see them in the wild.
