I’ve read a lot about that, I’m not sure I’m to the point of adding co2 yet. I’m really trying to keep things as simple as possible for now.
It doesn't take much C02 to raise the level 10X of what it is.
Even a couple of panting dogs living in there would make a huge difference.
https://byjus.com/question-answer/what-percentage-of-carbon-dioxide-is-present-in-the-atmosphere/
Here is what the plants are trying to survive on:
Carbon dioxide (CO2 ) constitutes about 0.03% (300 parts per million) of the atmospheric gases. Whereas, nitrogen comprises 70% and oxygen 21% of the atmospheric gases.
I'll shuddup now.

I right everything down so I can go back and say this worked or it didn’t work. I’m new to growing anything inside so im sort of blundering through it.
Yes please do!

Do what you think is best now to establish a baseline from which you can measure the results of changes. Be methodical in your experimental design.

I have a unused wood stove chimney within 20 ft of there that terminates above the 2nd story so we have a basement first floor and second floor it would put it leaving the house well over 30ft in the air. Now you have me thinking!
Idea

Find the stinkiest thing you can lay your hands on and feed it through the chimney to determine if you can smell it when outside?

Skunk would be ideal.

Someone start a new thread...

What s the stinkiest smell you ever smelled?

Ben
You don't have a hair if you don't.
This thread is far too focused to be derailed by skunk pee.
...And I have a lot of memories permanently burned into my brain about the other topic.

I’ll take a picture of my schedule when the lights come on tomorrow.
I consulted with a crew that was producing "medical grade" but when the bottom dropped out of the market from 800 to 400 or less they closed up operations.

In the flowering phase .hit them hard with the N in npk . short of finishing flush them to reduce how harsh it smokes. A sugar solution is used to flush prior finalizing.

As to the best of my memory...

My grandpa and I trapped together from the time I was big enough to walk. I remember one summer he got an idea to pick up road kill cats. He would bring them home chop them up with an ax. He then put what I come to call cat squares in gallon jars on the west side of the smoke house to ferment until trapping season. We would go set our traps and it was always my job to open the jars and get him a square of cat of the jar to bait with. If you have never smelled a chopped up roadkill cat that had been simmering in the sun for months you haven’t smelled anything so terrible! We caught every possum in the country that year. 🤣🤣🤣

I was trying to keep this on gardening, but since you mentioned the cat stuff, that ranks (pun) right up with the 1,000 lb rotting cow carcasses we had to deal with that had been toasting in the hot sun for weeks.
If the wind was blowing, you could smell it a half-mile away.gaahWhen you got close, it was 100X worse.
The other 2 are phosgene and chlorine gas. You will never forget those.
Now back to growing pot! :woo hoo:

It must be Bud Lite: I looked those pictures over three times and I didn't find any beer! ;)

Looked through online seed bank catalogs today, and man, oh man... when did growing dope become so complicated? Lol. I think I'll just visit the local dispensaries and see who has a good deal on specific strains... I like those which offer high THC content, I don't need any fancy low-grade weed with rainbow colors or flavors. Give me something with a THC level above 25%, I only smoke the cr@p to get high, not to appreciate subtle flavors or various colors, lol. My glass bong will "weed out" any harshness or impurities, 10-4? Dang, every year life seems to get more complicated... I kinda miss the old days of Lumbo Gold & Acapulco Gold, lol. I'm definitely behind the times... gettin' to be an old man.

Gonna order some seeds today and get 'em started indoors once they arrive... move 'em outdoors once they're big enough and the cold weather goes away. Looking forward to spring, even if it will be busy with planting & home rehab work. Had enough of subfreezing nights, bring on the spring weather! Not so bad today, except for the high winds and the chance of snow later tonight, lol... but I'm fully rigged with a fridge full o' beer & food, so no worries! Got tequila and some good buds too, though I'm not quite in the frame o' mind yet to PAR-TAY HARD, lol... maybe later this evening! I was a good boy yesterday and hardly partied at all, too busy running errands in town and then reading a Western from the library. 😎

Okey-dokey, looks like I'm set with the successful placement of an order for seeds, dunno why the glitch occurred last time I tried to order. But the transaction went through this time, and my seeds will be shipped pronto... I will germinate 'em the day they arrive and let 'em grow indoors for a bit before I transplant 'em, just to make sure spring is here. I'll be growing outdoors again, just as soon as the starter plants are big enough to go in the ground. 😒

As for the two strains I bought, I traveled to the Dark Continent this time around, lol. After perusing the seed bank catalog, I bought 'CONGO RED' and 'PURPLE AFRICAN MAGIC'---both are listed as "Extremely Strong" but the Purple African Magic offers a whopping 28-35% THC content, lol. The Congo Red just looked good, and the name was consistent with my adventure on the Dark Continent. Both strains supposedly do well outdoors too, which is good. 😁

A review I read claimed that one of these strains produced something like 16 ounces of weed per plant, I can't recall which strain, but Holy Toledo! I guess my friends in Idaho will be happy, along with a few transients I style out here in Alamo. Last season, I wound up donating an ounce or two to folks down on their luck... all were happy to receive those sacks too, lol. Meh, they're already down & out, might as well let 'em live it up for awhile. Cheers! 😎

Nice choices! Both Indica dominant. Should throw a Sativa dominant in the works for night time weed.

Well, the seeds arrived, and evidently they sent 7 feminized Purple African Magic seeds, 8 regular Purple Magic Seeds (might be male or female), 3 feminized Red Velvet Runtz seeds, and 3 giveaway seeds of Apple OG. I guess they were out of the Congo Red... or maybe those are Congo Red seeds and they just slapped the other strain label on there since it has "Red" in the name. Meh, I'll figure it out, at least the Purple African Magic seeds came through... should be interesting to see how those turn out, lol. I'll get the seeds started later today, I still have to deal with weeds in the yard... not the kind that can be smoked in the glass bong to good effect, lol. I gotta feeling that 'Dark Continent Weed' is gonna be potent, grown outdoors over the long hot summer... secondhand smoke will probably drop an ox at a quarter of a mile, lol.

What, weed in general? It tends to mellow you out, so blood pressure would certainly drop... I think some of the strains listed at the website where I bought my seeds had "high blood pressure" as one of the treatable complaints. Same goes for pain, anxiety, depression, a whole host of maladies. Some folks need to quit viewing MMJ as an "evil drug" and start thinking of it as holistic medicine... you want "evil drugs" then look to Big Pharma, aye? 😒

P.S. I don't smoke that much weed, but I like a hit before I watch a movie on the 65" curved screen. The other night, I took a bong hit and watched 'RUSH HOUR' with Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker... haven't laughed so hard in ages. I'd forgotten how funny that movie really is... last time I saw it was before all this divisive BS sponsored by dirty globalist swine obsessed with running the world. Too bad there's so much divisiveness in this world today...

Edit: Here are two shots of the little bullet vials that arrived via USPS... discreetly packaged, of course, lol.
