My family is natural minded and love outdoors. We are prepping our home to sell and get land!

Have been studing herbology and about so many ways to garden and homeschooling too. We are moving to be around more like minded individuals and beable to support ourselfes more as well. Prefer homegrown foods.

We have 2 girls our oldest is 21 and our youngest is 10. It's amazing how much alike they are and so different at the same time. With oldest being an author and a coach, the youngest shadows veternarians as much as she can.

Going threw courses on traditional living skills has really got me pumped about starting our homestead! At first liked the thought but was a bit overwhelmed by it all. Now know our family can not only do it but thrive!

Look forward to getting to know ppl on here 2 heads better than 1! Lol 😁

Would be awesome to find people close to where we will be moving to too...😅 all in time.

Welcome From the eastern slopes of the Canadian (Alberta) Rockies. You came to the right place, tons of knowledge and opinions

Thanks ❤️
Knowledge and opinions.... love it

Combining the two can make some amazing outcomes! 😉 as long as being respectful of eachother is in mind as well 😁

Alberta rockies! Must have beautiful views!

Welcome from N. AL and I hope you find a lot of good information between homesteading and some prepping (to me they can run together).
Yes want to combine them. That is the goal.
Wanna have our land be everything we need it to be including relaxing. Everything in balance. We don't like over stressing about things. Being prepared for anything- eases the stress 😉😁

(Been watching more and more natural pond vids 🥰😍🥰)

Welcome from Oklahoma.
Do look into home schooling. Public schools aren't fit for educating kids and some private schools aren't either.

I home schooled 3 of my 4 children. Daughter from 5th grade through high school and twin boys 8th grade through high school. I used ABeka curriculum (Bob Jones for Latin) and it was great - both teacher and student friendly. All my kids have solid college degrees and my daughter has her Master's and taught English Comp at University of OK for 3 years.

I loved being with my kids 24/7 and it was a priceless experience.

Why does no body like it? Mountain range looks beautiful. Is the weather harsh? Not familiar with that area....
It’s state that it’s in nobody likes. Every one automatically thinks I like fruit, granola, and blue politicians.
My standard greeting.
