Hello ๐Ÿ˜
Northern Indiana. Wanna be a bit closer to my Mom ๐Ÿ˜Š
Welcome from Winchester, Oklahoma. But I spent the first 59 years of my life in Northern Illinois. Genoa, DeKalb county.
Welcome from....nevermind. you certainly don't want to venture to my area, since it's full of freaks and geeks.
Which category do you fall into, Havasu? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Welcome from the trailer jungle.
Has anyone ever designed a plow you could pull behind a 4X4 pickup? Just curious.
Maybe Neb, Tirediron, and I should?

I am on a very small island surrounded by freaks, geeks, steers and queens. Help!
But do you need an evac or an air strike?
Over.

Welcome from Oklahoma.
Do look into home schooling. Public schools aren't fit for educating kids and some private schools aren't either.

I home schooled 3 of my 4 children. Daughter from 5th grade through high school and twin boys 8th grade through high school. I used ABeka curriculum (Bob Jones for Latin) and it was great - both teacher and student friendly. All my kids have solid college degrees and my daughter has her Master's and taught English Comp at University of OK for 3 years.

I loved being with my kids 24/7 and it was a priceless experience.
Yes. Our youngest is being homeschooled ๐Ÿ˜„ she is 10 and has only been to traditional school for a whole 6 months. 4 of those were Montessori the other 2 was public....

Our oldest chose not to do college because of the hard liberal agenda being pushed there. So she does master classes on line and workshops. Her first book come out at the end of the month! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Happy to hear your kiddos are doing so well too ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks magus!
Designed a plow...not yet....but sounds like fun. ๐Ÿ‘
I'm thinking several stacks of leaf springs welded on an I-beam "T" for tines and an adjustable drag wheel, but Neb and Tirediron are smarter than me about such.

Your oldest is wise beyond her years. Our daughter is a little messed up on a few ideas she got in college. She'll be okay, but still....
College isn't a good place for young people now any more than public school is.

Know some that was chain link fence to clean up the fields from rocks and things ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
Look forward to having these challenges to solve ๐Ÿ˜„

So many ways to do things! Love it

Sorry your daught is still a bit touched by her experience. Glad she is good though! They are resilient, and sounds like she has a good support system too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yea will have to agree, Leila is wise beyond her years. Old soul. With a heart of gold ๐Ÿ’› I'm a bit biased though ๐Ÿฅฐ

My family is natural minded and love outdoors. We are prepping our home to sell and get land!

Have been studing herbology and about so many ways to garden and homeschooling too. We are moving to be around more like minded individuals and beable to support ourselfes more as well. Prefer homegrown foods.

We have 2 girls our oldest is 21 and our youngest is 10. It's amazing how much alike they are and so different at the same time. With oldest being an author and a coach, the youngest shadows veternarians as much as she can.

Going threw courses on traditional living skills has really got me pumped about starting our homestead! At first liked the thought but was a bit overwhelmed by it all. Now know our family can not only do it but thrive!

Look forward to getting to know ppl on here 2 heads better than 1! Lol ๐Ÿ˜

Would be awesome to find people close to where we will be moving to too...๐Ÿ˜… all in time.
Welcome from Wisconsin and have a blessed day
