Nora stay here, I think you have a few things prepper-like, write something that you want to take with you in case of emergency. You once mentioned something about herbal medicine somewhere, that would be a very interesting aspect to bring in, it would interest me very much.

But ban1985 WHERE IS HERE?? is this earth or the matrix or Noras febrile mind , we need to know.

In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.

I had to look up "Recconoitering" lol.
I've always referred to it as "Reconnaissance" lol.
(Or "recon" for short.)

not the same.
what you said sounds too formal.
its hard to explain the Westcountry dialect in print.

Here are two funny ideas...
The universe is large...the universe is old...
Just because the universe is millions of light years LARGE does not HAVE TO MEAN that it is millions or billions of years old. We measure the size in kilometers, meters or miles...or millions of (TIME) light years...just because we measure it in time, does not mean we have understood the TIME it has existed...
THEORY FROM ME: IF THE UNIVERSE WAS ONLY 1 BILLION YEARS OLD, and the same amount of asteroids and meteors have hit the earth as the moon, AND since the moon has NO EROSION; WIND; RAIN AND SUCH, then the dust accumulated there should be approximately 137 feet deep, BUT, when the first man walked on the moon, there was only about 1/8th of an inch of dust there...meaning it would only be around 10,000 years old...
If the universe was actually 4.5 billion years old...each impact of a meteor on the moon would produce a cloud of dust visible with only a small telescope...and we could never see the surface of the moon because of the dust storms from constant impacts...OR, what do you think? Gary

There is a huge amount of consistant evidence that the Universe is several billion years old.

I understand your dust argument, but there's a catch: erosion does occur on the Moon . . . just slower than on Earth.

The solar wind erodes away gases, micrometeroites wear away dust deposits, and hits of large meteors cause local melting, followed by solidification when it cools.

And so on.

As I said before, this thread is for light hearted discussion and is NOT for attacking other people's religious beliefs.
Cease and desist or I will lock the thread.

God made them do it :)
