He’s a Roman so Roman numerals: I II III IV V. With 2 fingers you make the V.
In the interest of taking this way off topic, why is it many clock faces with Roman numerals represent four as IIII rather than IV? I've seen both, but always wondered which is correct.

I would “guess” that those will the 4 strikes are newer clocks perhaps made in China by 8 year olds who don’t know any different. Historically the correct way is IV meaning 1 less than 5 just as IX is 1 less than 10. Look at the copyright dates in very old books- also Roman numerals 😊
 
Some still use the "Finger Way of Counting"...!!! Oooops...!!!!
 
Maybe You were Thought the "v" was for(4) Pointing Down...?!?
