Yesterday I told some co-workers I was retiring at 62 if I had to eat cat food. This was on my desk this morning. I was a little offended at first that they thought I was 62. Then I saw it expires Oct 2024 so it will still be good. Oh and they sprang for the good stuff too, Salmon.

I was sitting in a hookah joint one night in Port Said Egypt. Classy joint, the walls were card board with tin on the outside. It was crowded but I wasn't impressed, black african tobacco is nasty. Suddenly the entertainment arrived.

A guy ran through the place, literally. He came through the wall to my left, ran across the room, then through the wall on that side.

2 cops on foot were chasing him, they ran through the wall, across the room, then through the hole.

Amazing, no one seemed to notice or give it a thought. There wasn't even a break in the sound of conversations except the bartender who was yelling at the cops. Don't know what he said, I don't speak arabic.

I said to my friend, "time to leave, quickly". At least I saw a hookah joint. Never know what you'll see in an international shipping port filled with sailors... but it's probably going to be interesting or memorable.🤣

Researchers for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority found over 200 dead crows near greater Boston recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu.
A Bird Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu. The cause of death appeared to be vehicular impacts.
However, during the detailed analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, while only 2% were killed by an impact with a car.
MTA then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of truck kills versus car kills. He very quickly concluded the cause: When crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger.
They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout "Cah", not a single one could shout "Truck."
