Reminds me of a dentist I had once who used to say he didn’t understand the love affair people have with their toothbrush… there comes a time when you need to let it go and start using a new one.
TRUE STORY
Not much better lol. The dungaree uniform was designed for guys decades earlier and didn't look great on guys. And in boot camp the folks handing out clothes didn't even care if it fit. If you could put it on was the only requirement. I learned later at different commands there was always an alteration shop right outside the gate that all the women knew about. Funny how they always know.

In 1979-80 winter the Foxtrot girls looked good, but My home was 18 miles away, so I went home to my girl every weekend that I was in AIT.

I had to be that every halloween growing up because my mom couldn't fold fitted sheets! It was easier for her to cut eye holes in them and throw then away November 1st!!
Happened to me, maybe 6 or 7. My folks cut two holes in an old sheet and sent me trick or treating with the older kids. I fell off 3 porches that night, couldn’t see anything!!!
I was so happy when a big dog took my sheet and wouldn’t give it back! Only fair, I’d stepped on the dog.

That is my wife. She absolutely hate for me to turn on the heat the first time in the fall.
Same thing for putting the extra blanket on the bed.
One year my mom made a pillow case head for the ghost costume and a shorter sheet robe for the body. Thank goodness dad didn't let me out of the house in the KKK outfit!!Happened to me, maybe 6 or 7.
