I have put a sweatshirt on over my swimsuit MANY times!! A wetsuit is WAY too much work!!

I went in a vat full of water wearing a Tyvek suit, it held in the body heat like usual, but I still got wet.
Nah I have to have it warm, the cold water gives me some kind of breathing problem it makes my chest get tight for some reason, has since the first time I had bronchitis.
I remember when I was a Kid we swam at the Townsend WYE all the time and were blue when we came out. Could not do it now. makes me a little sad but my cuz that used to go with me is passed so it wouldn't be the same anyway.

Rub some of the cold water on your face and neck before you have to go in, it alleviates some of the neural shock you're getting from that.
Mowed the lawn this morning and wanted to jump in the pool, but severe thunderstorms rolled in.
I wonder what Pearl sees today. Be careful if you see seagulls flying over 
Had to bail out!! I was on storm patrol (
), and we had horrible wind gusts off a collapsing storm!! Many large branches got ripped off of two Cottonwood trees and took down my fence between Buddy and the neighbor to my south!! Had to lock Buddy off that pasture and fix fence!! Not nice!! All clear for a bit!! Hope we can dry out some!!

We got NO rain!! Thankfully!! Just really CRAZY wind!!
So stupid weird afternoon!! I'm in the pool, (
) I got hit hard in the eye by some black bug, a little red on it! Immediately my eye and face start swelling!! Then I can't see out of my left eye!! So all scorpion stings, spider and Copperhead bites aside.... THIS IS STUPID!! Seven hours later, two loratadine ( Claritin), two Ibuprofen.... swelling is down, eye is yucky!! So the weird part,..... Hubby came home, got in the pool. He's checking out my eye and asked if I went to Walmart today....I know where this is going!! I said of course not! He asked if I won! So I threw it back at him....I said if my eye looked like this because of a person, would I be here? He said no, you would be in jail!! So bad bug day, could be worse!!

Oh, here's what happened to your eye! That's crazy. New book title: Weird things that critters do to Pearl, by Pearl. Next chapter, black and red bug jabs Pearl's eye (hubs pokes fun).

Not sure, it was pretty squished when I got a look at it! We have some type of fly like things that are black with red on their sides, could have been one of them!!

I’m reckonin’ it weren’t a cow killer. Lawd, gimme the strength!
No bites in the pool today!! The Roadrunner mom is POed that the boy is NOT bringing her food while she is sitting on the eggs!! She got down and got her own dinner, and pecked the mister away!!
BIRDS!! So many birds! Bluebirds eating grasshoppers, Scissortails getting mosquitoes, Kites working the higher levels! Buddy had his little brown Cowbird following him around hoping he stirs up bugs in the grass!
Baby deer!! There are NINE hanging around the pasture behind us! Late afternoon they all run and play together!!
NIGHT POOL!! Beautiful moon!! Pastures are lit up like daylight!! Hubby messed around in his shop! Cats and a opossum visited!! Cats then came to hang out on the pool deck! Back inside, going to bed!
OH... STRAWBERRY MOON!! VERY AWESOME!!

We have at least 9 little fawns hanging around right now! The oldest one is just starting to lose its spots, the youngest are twins born less than two weeks ago! So it's the right time!
I'll be "observing" soon! There are two nest of Wrens that hatched in the past two days, they are under the top rail on the pool! The moms bring them food and they beep! 
Have had a lot of Bluebirds, Scissor Tails and Phoebes catching bugs in the pasture! Bear will be out in his yard with his doggie pool! He likes to put his toys in his pool and fish them back out!

I had a bird-of-prey show up a couple months ago. I recognized the call was different, and the silhouette was different from a regular hawk. I used my Merlin App to identify the sound and it told me it was a Mississippi Kite. I finally positively identified it when it landed in a tree outside my window.
What a beautiful bird! I named him Kevin .. and now I've seen both at one time and know there is a Karla! lol.
I love birds!

i am so mad @Pearl yall wont believe what she done....i was so hot and exhausted i decided to float in her pool...well as i floated around my big belly was sticking out of water like an island and she spies my bellybutton as she finishes her beer and jams that thing in my bellybutton as she got out of pool....i tried with all might i couldnt get it out...sooo..i had to suck my gut in and go all redneck and crunch that bud light can with my belly muscles to free it from that apparently living cup holder ! now today my belly is sore from that...life lesson #4876 dont float in pearls pool without a bellybutton guard in place !
p.s. headed to lowes to get a tub stopper to use so that dont happen again....ever !
