Diana was bumped off because she had a foreigner baby in her. Nearly 400 years since my ancestors came here from Wales, but still consider her my princess.

Miss Markle poses no such threat. As mentioned, she'll be treated like a brood mare.

Okay, question. Many say that Harry is the son of the riding instructor. They do look alike.

Is that why there is no problem with the divorced, bi-racial marriage? Never will be King unless of some major tragedy.

Pretty much. Technically, William's kids are in line for the throne before even Harry, at this point. This puts him at SIXTH in line for the throne, so nobody really cares. If William and Kate have any more, he'll be bumped down even further on the list.

With Diana though, the idea of a child of hers (not from Charles) upsetting the line, would certainly have been a bit of a problem. No matter that he would have pretty much been out of the realm of possibility for the throne.

My ancestors are from Scotland I believe and my husband's last name is definitely Irish.

Thanks to the diligent efforts of a distant cousin, we can directly trace our family's origins in America to 1635, when my ancestor Thomas arrived on The Assurance, in Virginia. Prior to that, it gets a bit more murky, but was largely from Wales. I know they had spread at least as far as Nottinghamshire, where one of my ancestors was indeed, a Sheriff of Nottingham (Sir Alexander de (last name withheld)). Whether he was THE Sheriff or not (from Robin Hood), is a bit murky, as is even the legend of Robin Hood. The time would have fit, but that's still a window of about 100 years or so, but it's still a fun family topic. The coat of arms is listed as one of the minor noble houses of Wales. (emphasis on the word minor, hehe).

Yeah, I'm betting he's the son of the instructor too. But even with all of William's kids, can't forget their pop is actually next in line, Prince Charles.

According to my grandmother, we are descended from John Churchill 1st Duke of Malborough.
Tracing the genealogy gets a bit murky though, so I haven't been able to stake a claim for Blenheim Palace yet.
I've always referred to Winston Churchill as "Uncle Winston" :D

Charlie will die before the Queen. Camilla wore him down.

Do you think William would have been afforded the leniency that was given to Harry? Nope, he is second in line and under strict scrutiny.

Remember that Diana had to prove her virginity.

Since my brother's death, we have had two additions to the family. The boy looks exactly Luke my brother.

The girl has taken many DNA tests and is definitely my niece. She can't prove who chi of my two brothers because both are dead and the one with children are all refusing any more tests.

She has a long list of our ancestors and she's always sharing our lineage.

She's done about 4 different companies and gets the same results. Lots of the stuff is very complicated.

My mother and father are from different towns, never knew each others families and are actually 5th cousins.
It's Kentucky. Lol

I read one Kate and William’s wedding that it cost 34 million dollars and 32 million was spent on keeping spectators safe. That’s some high dollar prepping. I have tried to think of what this could have been spent on.. but I can’t even get close to justifying those dollars.
They watched London Has Fallen and said.. F That!

Your brother’s children don’t want to know if they have another sibling or cousin?

It was okay at first , but she is really in your face , they gave her samples but it doesn't show which brother. She need one of the brother's daughters and we don't have one. There is another girl that has claimed my brother as her dad for 45 years. She is afraid to test because her mom had lots of boyfriends

that's cos they've only got the Obama's and the Bush's!!oops....I forgot those pesky Clintons!!

Avoiding it, I'm a Republican I consider the Royals to be very expensive welfare claimants. Security for the wedding cost £30 million pounds ($40 million) yet in this area we now have NO local police presence at all. The Uk is still in the 16th century on many cultural aspects.

Oh and dont think the Windsors / Wales/ Mountbattens/ Haps Coburgs will EVER accept Miss Markle as anything other than a brood mare just like Fergie and Dianna were. IE used to produce the next generation without the problems associated with In breeding, then she will be sidelined (or bumped off).
That thought passed through my mind. Seems like Kate is fitting in well though.

Hello! I am a student at the University of Denver and am currently conducting a research project on preppers and would greatly appreciate if you could take this survey. It will take less than 5 minutes. Thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z3G9FQK

hope this isn't for a stats class. A lot of text answers are hard to quantify and do any kind of stat analysis.

I kept expecting Lucy to pull the football away though....

I'd recommend a more robust survey, with more detailed questions. And each question should be T/F or multiple choice, to do some actual data analysis, and provide data points for your project.

Back to topic though.....

A lot of the genealogy tests are cool. My cousin though, put together an online database, where you can see yourself (in our family), and relatives, and really trace it all the way back to at least 1635. My grandmother did some work from there, but she ran into a lot of roadblocks soon before that. Sad that he passed though (my cousin). Not sure anyone is carrying it on.
