That ratchet is set up only for left turns, a right turn is going to require you to switch the ratchet to the other direction.
I'm thinking my dad using vice-grip pliers was a better idea. I will never forget that black Studebaker. You could watch the street go by through the floor and the auxiliary gas heater kept the car warm all winter in Spokane. Mom had to use both hands to shift the transmission.
 
This is one of several reasons why I have so many guns. Also why my hair is turning grey. She just posted this photo on social media today. Ugh.

Thank you. She is the spitting image for her Mom, and just as feisty.

I like to put on the full uniform when boys come around. I also like to joke about how easy it is for people to disappear without a trace, especially when you have a lot of law enforcement training & knowledge.

She will be out of the house next fall, then I have 3 more girls to go.

Whew, it's good to know I'm not the only one that lives/lived in an estrogen filled environment.

I'm still not sure I survived, lol.
