So the text I got was "Available Saturday? Will be on the ground and free by 5.". I didn't respond right away because my big head and my little head were having a serious debate about the pros and cons of each option. At this point I feel safe in saying if she ever found out about the layover lady that would bring the new Lady's time with me a screaming halt. That makes me think I should stick with my original date plans. Then again I am currently on one of the longest dry streaks I have had since High School and the layover lady is smoking hot. Need to think more about it but will probably allow my morals to win out over my desires. Gross, I am starting to act my age.

So I decided not to ruin what could be a wonderful regular thing for a once and awhile random thing. Proud of and loathing myself at the same time. "Sorry, already made plans for Sat. Never know what the future holds, hit me next time. K?" She responded with a very attractive picture and "Change your plans. If you're worried about motherhood, don't be. I am 5x5 and ready for an all nighter." UGH! What is the opposite of Viagra!? The little head is winning this battle now. Also I had totally forgotten that she had a kid while I was under siege. Which made me think about the daughter, which threw me into another morality loop.

Get rid of the flight attendant picture and look at a picture of Whoopie Goldberg immediately, there, little head is grossed out now!! If you didn't already have other plans it would be fine to see flight gal, but if you already had plans with rebound gal you'll end up having to lie and that never goes well!!
Just reading that removed any chance of arousal in the next 24 hours. Not just for me but every male on this forum who reads it. Thanks though.
I actually just got off the phone with the flight attendant, I had never spoken to her on the phone before only texted. She sounded very amorous and ready to hook up. I just put it out there and told her the story, the short version anyway. She was pretty quiet so I reiterated that she was incredibly beautiful and it had absolutely nothing to do with her being a mom now. That did something. She confessed to actually being really nervous and that she had not put herself out there since getting pregnant by a man who is providing financial support but surrendered all parental rights. I am pretty sure I was going to be her post-baby rebound guy before she started focusing on finding a man with more to offer, including maybe, being a fill-in-father. She didn't see me in that role, which is fair. I told her that I expected there to be a line of men ready to apply and that if things did not work out with the Lady I would definitely reach out. It was a good talk and I am pretty sure a few tears were shed. So now I am some kind of ******* sensitive relationship whisperer who is indifferent to hot Brazilians, turns away sexy blond flight attendants and stays committed to a relationship with a woman my age who doesn't want to have sex. Where I do report for sainthood?
My take on this is prolly a fling with the flygirl would ruin what really looks from the outside as a Live apart fairly functional relationship ( i typed this before the 2 above posts, then a cowtastrophe happened and I got distracted)

She doesn't like the sound of rebound either, for her or for me. I have trying to use "new Lady". I really don't want to show her my place, maybe I should just sell it to that property developer and move to the city. Or I guess I could give her a tour. Would be easier. My life used to be really simple.
Why not have a bbq at your place sat? If both the new lady n daughter are wondering if the new guy is living in mom's basement..invite both to a nice BBQ.
I don't see the new ladytrying to be moving in or staling type plus you do have a gate and security system..

@Hooch @Pearl Maybe in a couple weeks, I have plans and back up plans for the next few Saturdays. Plus I feel like I need to buy some furniture first and I don't know, maybe a house plant? Do most people have rugs and stuff in their bathroom? She may look around and think I am only 1-step away from being homeless. Plus keep in mind she has not allowed me inside the doors of her domicile either. Not the actual apartment anyway.

you know in my past i always found it strange when i got a gf it wouldnt be long till other woman were wanting to go out...whats up with that.
i had a friend use to come visit and she was a looker ...she use to laugh and say while visiting at a duty station watch how many of these girls want a date because they seen you with me...lol...she was right...all the guys wanted to know if we was dating and whats the deal..we were hiking buddies...the girls roll up on me asking question and often you wanna go out sometime....lol

I would say don't change the way you place is setup, she knows you work away , correct, ? I made the mistake of letting my sister clean my house before my "rebound" (for me) came to visit , she hyper cleaned it and said girl expected it like that all the time, And living in camp or hotel rooms is way easier if home isn't too spiffy.

I like stepping on a rug after I get out of the shower..better than dripping all over the floor and in winter ..the bare floor is too damb cold.
A house plant is nice too..if you have a south facing window..you can get a citrus tree from home depot. I have a little lime tree. It's kicking out nice limes every year and only maybe 3 feet tall..
