What camo pattern is that? Looks similar to Flecktarn. I'm very fond of Flecktarn.View attachment 7335 View attachment 7336 View attachment 7337 as promised;pics, made that pouch, only difficulty was to do it without any "blueprints",it was only in my head.
I'm really excited to hear how well it works! We picked a couple more 27 gallon totes up at Costco, plus a(nother) shelf unit for preps,
My better half took one of my workbenches and had me get it into the basement. It's going to have a freeze dryer sitting on it tomorrow.
I think the bikini top is a must with the heat. We can order it direct from Japan or I may take some pictures and see if someone local can make one reasonably. This has three holes in the bed, so I am assuming there was a bench bolted down at one time. I will probably add something before long. Like I said, the two little fold down seats make the ford ranger back seats look spacious! Was your Suzuki a right hand drive diesel too? That's cool Brent. I had a Suziki Samuri a number of years ago which was about the same size. It had such a small engine, it maxed out at around 60 on level ground, but because of the light engine, it would go just about anywhere a quad would go...maybe some places a quad couldn't. It could climb like a billy goat. It was a beast! The kids always loved riding in the back with the top down. There was a folding/removable back bench seat with seat belts. I had a full cloth top and a bikini top that just covered the front seat.
my prep of the day was getting this awesome survival Grenade kit they have a promo on right now and you can get it for FREE i highly recommend it to any prepper ill post a link to it.

Sorry Brent, but I'm not so sure that I'd want to see you driving around in your Jeep in a bikini top.I think the bikini top is a must with the heat. No, small 4 cylinder gas engine. Very small. Was your Suzuki a right hand drive diesel too?
Lol, hell, even I would be disturbed by that image!Sorry Brent, but I'm not so sure that I'd want to see you driving around in your Jeep in a bikini top.
I ordered a self start jumper cable. You don't need to have another car to use it. I also got regular jumper cables & a new car battery ( a couple of weeks ago ). So I should be prepared for a dead battery situation
View attachment 7342 Ok, I am still so excited that I had to post this! I have wanted a jeep my whole life, but was always too practical to waste the money on a toy. Well, I found a Japanese Mitsubishi jeep that was imported just four months ago. These things were licensed by jeep to be made in Japan, and were just like the old Willis jeep, but modern with some technological improvements. This one has a four cylinder diesel, two batteries for a 24volt system, and old school jeep looks. I will get it tagged tomorrow and can't wait to start taking it out! I drove it two hours Bringing it home the other day, but can't wait to try out the 4wd. Who needs air conditioning and comforts? Being able to carry more than two people, who has that many friends? It actually does have two little fold down jump seats, but I will be damned If I'd ever sit in one of them. At least it does have a heater for wintertime. Seriously, I don't like cold! The right hand drive with shift on the left was weird for a few minutes, but not too bad to get used to. All joking aside, I am thrilled to have a tough little truck! We took the top off, but it does have it for rainy days.View attachment 7341

Doc, I have always had an interest in the Samuaria every since I saw it for the first time in Georgia when I was active duty.
Where in Mississippi do you hunt? My father hunts in Woodsville, near the river.A looooooong time ago, my cousin was telling me about them, and singing their praises about how they could go anywhere a three wheeler could (long before the days of quads) and were so light and efficient, yada, yada, yada...
Then a friend of my wife's sold that one to us for $2700. It was already old. All of what my cousin said was true. Every word. I drove it for ten years, and it rarely saw a mechanic. The last few years, after the kids grew up and were too old to ride in the back, and I started doing most of my hunting in Mississippi which was too far to go in the thing (I actually did once) it mainly just gathered dust. But I loved that little beast.
