Do you use tattler lids?
We had some, but you better be careful with them.
I don’t think I like the idea of reusing something like that, but I sure don’t know everything.

Nope. Have never seen any sold in this area. I would like to try them out though so always check when we are in stores. I don't do online shoping.Do you use tattler lids?
I got Nord VPN. I can add on up to 6 devices including my cell phone. I have wanted to do this for a while. $99 for 3 years, not too bad.
I did my research. I hope this company works out because I too am cheap I would hate to waste my money
Every little bit helps to stock those shelves and 2 loads will be nice added addition.I managed to get two loads of tomatoes canned yesterday. It’s been tough to find time.
I got 2 batches (11 jars) in this weekend. Took me about half a day. I still get some water at the bottom of the jar, even though I tried to use only the flesh. What a mess, too.I managed to get two loads of tomatoes canned yesterday. It’s been tough to find time.

It's my understanding that the rubber gaskets are reuseable?Something I don't understand...
Ball lids are around 35 cents apiece.
Tattler lids are around a buck apiece. The lid itself is reusable but the seal isn't. The seals are around 50 cents apiece.
Where is the economy in using the reusable lids?
I didn’t know that! Thanks!I double checked and as long as they have no cuts of cracks they can be used over and over.

I thought that they used beeswax not too long ago, or is that regional? The way I see it, the bands and lids have worked for a hundred years, why change? We have tried most of the new and approved canning devices and always ended up going back to the bands and lids. Maybe it's just me?

With practice you get faster and make less mess. When I first started it was a major event, but now I can do other tasks between steps.I got 2 batches (11 jars) in this weekend. They are reusable. I actually bought some, online, but still haven’t tied them out yet. Maybe my next batch of tomatoes in a few days. It's my understanding that the rubber gaskets are reuseable?
I’d like to learn about using an alternative like that. My little understanding was it was only good for waterbath canning as the pressure canning is too hot and melts it out.My grandmother used paraffin.
