.i just picked more okra..i had to cut open 4 of them to save the seeds,on account i had overlooked them 3 or 4 times.we had a cold/cool spell a few days ago..and it looks like i wont be getting any more tomatoes this year.but at least i saved seeds from both..
I installed a Solvis Solar System for a customer today.

a nurse came out and removed the stitches from my moms ankle today..now i have me a stitch cutting scissor, a adson 4 3/4 inch forcep (a type of tweezer)..povidone-iodine prep pad,..and im hanging on to them 
Havn't gotten much done last couple of weeks I worked 60+ hours ths week the 2 previous weeks only took 1 day off in 15 days . Lots of stress too as we our being poorly lead right now . Lots of our folks looking to me to fix it but I'm mid level and just have to tuff it out . But I have picked up several box's of ammo including 3 box's of .22 LR and starting to pick up a LED lantern each pay check with spare batteries . Mabe the stress is causing the some what darkness of my post here lately .
I hope things smooth out for you! I switched out all my gas lanterns for LED lanterns and been quite happy with the change so far.
i been wanting to get some lanterns that can be recharged by the way of solar power and/or hand crank.this way,this way we have light if we have a power grid

I am currently using the Streamlight Siege lanterns, along with my standard alkaline batteries I am using the eneloop 'D' spacers then all I have to do is charges the AA batteries for the eneloop spacers
yeah.that goal zero is a bit too pricey for me..im just waiting till i have the lil extra money.then check out wal mart and academy sport..then go from there on what to do and not do..
i do have a solar powered battery charger that recharges AA AAA c d and 9 volt transistor batteries..but a lantern with a rechargeable battery/power pack built into it.and a solar panel,, might come in mighty handy at times...
This is what I use for charging AA/AAA, I do have other panels roughly the same size very compact and very portable, for the lanterns that require 'D' cells I use 'D' spacers that take AA batteries further reducing charger size and weight (I didn't have my the spacer handy but the same as the one's I have in the picture below)
They wont last as long as alkaline D batteries nor do they have power output as alkaline Ds, yes, they will effect lumen output, they work very well for the intended purpose. I would use the alkaline's whenever the sun wouldn't be available for a few days and/or need all the available light output, I use the spacers to conserve the alkaline's and don't need all the extra light output. fyi, you can use alkaline/rechargeable AA batteries in the spacers.
I worked long hours most of my life, as that's part of having your own business. I semi retired early and now 39hours is the most put in a work, leaving me enough time to work on things for me now. I could always use more money, but am content with things right now.
Somebody went into my garden and stole all of my pumpkins. All of them! Those pumpkins were the only thing we really were proud of and we really were looking forward to pick, eat and carve them. It was going to be my sons first real Halloween. Couple days ago somebody poisened the neighbors dog and killed it.

As soon we found out that they were missing we went for a little "walk" around the neighborhood to see if we can spot our pumpkins in someones backyard or garage but with no luck. I just feel like someone stole these pumkins from my son. We hsd so much fun planting them, letting them grow and take care of them. And then some low life comes in and just takes it right from my son...
yeah..that was a pretty sorry low down thing for someone to do..especially where it includes your son being let down n all
I just got a storage unit. I live in an apartment so this is huge for me! It is a good size about 6x10. It is also just one floor below me so its not far at all and its super easy to get to. I am very excited about all of this extra space I have acquired.
It took me ages, but that's exactly why I fenced my property and got two dogs! It sucks that there are so many out there that have no respect for others.
I did not know they were interchangeable. I just always assumed the different size batteries were different voltages. I know yrs ago I tried a 12v bulb in an 18v cordless flashlight, thinking I could get a little use out of it. I got about a quarter of a second

As long as the voltage is the same or slightly less you shouldn't have a problem, most rechargeable batteries are 1.2v Vs the 1.5v of the alkaline, AAA/AA/D/C are the same voltage just different mAh, the mAh in a nutshell determines the battery longevity in a device.

I believe that AAA and AA plus C and D cells are all 1.5 volt The much loved CR123A is 3 volts and the flat square one with two round terminals side by side is 9 VOLTS
except for the rechargeable they are 1.2v
Yup , spot on, I personally cannot get on with rechargeable batteries they don't last long enough kept in low drain operations like am/fm radio receivers. I only use Energiser Lithiums in anything I NEED to work on demand in high stress environments. I like the long shelf life of Lithium batts .
