The twins refuse to wear their coats to school. They say it's warm in the building. They leave the house and it's 4 degrees out, just with a sweatshirt hoodie on. Funny though, when doing after school chores, they'll put their coats on. Little granddaughter doesn't have to be told, she wears her coat, hat, gloves. Yesterday was horribly cold for animal chores outside. I had on a longsleeve shirt, skirt, insulated leggings, thick socks, a sweater over my shirt, a heavy coat over that, gloves, and a big neck and head wrap. Just my eyes were showing.

We usually get our first snow in late September, it doesn't last though. Snow stays on the ground from November until late April with patches until first week of May. Our last snow fall is usually in June.

Started out clear this morning, then the frozen fog moved back in. The temp dropped to 10 degs after the fog settled in. I think I'll make up a batch of habanaro pepper sause today.

2 degs this morning. The fog moved in but quickly burned off. We decided to drive down south to get some things.
