Talked to family in Maryland about their snow event this weekend and they're hoping to only get 1-3" snow. The coast is where it will lay 3-5" snow.
Mountains are expecting 2-6" overnight. Foothills got a dusting earlier. Sun came out here before it set

so far today we have had a nice morning and an afternoon with snow, rain, freezing rain, some wind, and then finishing up with light snow.... I would have just preferred snow....

Today's high was 14 degs. Probably drop down to zero tonight, maybe lower. Next snow should be on Sunday.
Clear skies, 20 to 26 night time temps, up to 58 during the days, last I heard we've got some rain on the way, badly needed for the water supplies for this year. Not good to see is the cherry trees in our garden are near to budding out, of course the night time temps may put an end to the budding, hopefully not to getting fruit on our trees.

Monday it was 29 at sunrise, and 60 by 1:00 PM.
Sunday morning is supposed to be the coldest yet, low 20's at sunrise.

41F high & 32F is the low. But no snow.
We were around 19 deg with the wind chill last night, supposed to be a few deg colder Sunday night. I’m ready for spring already.

It's 25 now warming up to a high of 27 then it will get cold over night. By the end of the week they are expecting to see 50+ weather....
Blizzard has been raging for going on 14 hours here in southeastern MA. Snow depth is just under 20 inches so far. Temps in the mid twenties and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour. Weather forecasters claim it’ll continue for an additional 13 hours.

Nasty biting cold. wind chill is 8 degrees and the powdery snow we got is blowing all over the place.

Got up to 31 here, just a dusting of snow overnight. Back into mid teens tonight. Tomorrow expected into mid 40's.

For the past couple weeks, we've had highs right close to freezing and fog! Tomorrow is supposed to make it to 40ish - we'll see.

Dad and I were talking about this today. By far the coldest January we've had in more than a decade. During the last one I owned a barrel racing horse. Now, if I could only remember when I owned the horse.
