Kinda chilly this morning, somebody stole the cloud cover :p. Nice later today, then rainish friday and saturday morning, if one is to belief the forecasters.

After I cut the grass this afternoon, I won't care, new roof and gutters :). Let it rain

We actually got some RAIN last night! :woo hoo:

Better yet, the forecast calls for a 50% chance of rain today, jumping to 60% this evening! :dancing:

So I don't have to water this morning, and hopefully I won't have to water for the next few days, since there is more rain in the forecast... we need it too, things have been DRY around here. 🏜️

High temps in the 60's.
Had thunderstorms a couple days. A little snow last week. Typical spring weather.
I had a very special day today that I had been waiting for, for 3 weeks....
ZERO wind, no rain, not too hot, not too cold... I finally got a chance to put down the Roundup®.:):woo hoo:

It was overcast yesterday, but not just clouds. It was haze from some wildfires in Canada. I couldn't smell the smoke, but others told me they could. I thought we were having fog around 1:30 in the afternoon. It sprinkled off and on but not too much.

Today it is hazy and we are supposed to have some rain later today.

Well this is new... hazy sky this morning, sky cleared up, beautiful sun with a few clouds, all thru sunset.
Then at 8:30pm here come a downpour. :dunno: It never does that!
.89" by 11pm, and still going!

Beautiful weather, I'm just a bit chapped because we didn't get much rain out of those clouds that moved through the area last week. However, the sunshine is very nice! Not too goldurned hot yet, triple digits will arrive in another month or two. Joel, it was kinda funny how every last kid in my high school knew EXACTLY how many grams were in an ounce, lol... 😒

The Forest Service has a prescribed burn all around our property. It's been pretty smokey here for several days. The woods are too wet for the fire to burn very well so they let the fire go out yesterday. Before the fire burned out they had about a 3 mile long fire line along part of our west and north lines. Haven't heard if they plan to continue burning later this summer.

Wind in the forecast manana, but it'll be welcome... maybe some of those gusts will blow the gnats away from my home, lol. Yes, I'm still dealing with those pesky critters, but they won't last forever... I thought they were on the way out earlier today, but they made a comeback, lol. A good stiff breeze will get 'em outta here, no worries. 😒

Time to go water, I like evening watering sessions since the sun isn't blazing down on me... 🥵

Couldn’t ask for nicer weather, sunny and ‘80s. Frost a couple of weeks ago did noticible damage to grapes in the region, and my black walnuts, mulberry, and persimmon were hit hard. Now, with the warmth I am seeing a few leaves ‘sprouting’ on the black walnut. I’ve never seen this happen before and imagine that leaves but not fruit will eventually come. Feels like summer! 😊

77 here at the moment. Supposed to be in the low 80's until Friday then dip down to the mid-70's next weekend. No rain in sight, unless I wash the cars or set up some sprinklers.
