Hot and humid. Headache inducing weather.
My inlaws were talking about that to the wife last night. Hope everyone came thru with nothing more than some property damageWe Have some wicked storms moving through right now, cops have put out notice that I96 between Lansing and Howell is to be avoided due to multiple accidents, a lot of cars believed to have been flipped an tossed by a tornado. I have been watching my local station and they were seeing lots of rotation on radar in that particular area, about 35 miles NW from me.
They just reported that both eastbound and westbound are closed still. Now they have completely shut down 96 through Ingham County.
My bunch is close to Holland, haven't heard a peep from them!My family was hearing tornado sirens (in Michigan) last night too. Anxiety-inducing weather is hard to deal with. I think there are at least three of us here who have family there.
The rotation of the tornado was picking up debris and it could be seen on radar, how crazy is that!My inlaws were talking about that to the wife last night. Hope everyone came thru with nothing more than some property damage

Come, baby come!!!
I think @snappy1 and @Peanut are out bidding us.It's going to Florida!!
Key words: 'move very slowly'.1. Northwestern Caribbean Sea and Eastern Gulf of Mexico (AL93):
Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure
located near the Yucatan Channel continue to gradually become
better organized. If this trend continues, advisories will be
initiated on this system later today. The system is expected to
move very slowly northward into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico
during the next couple of days.
114°, crazy humid! Just got in from refreshing waters for very thankful animals. It's hard to breathe out there, stings your skin!! Showers to the north, not moving much, just popping up and raining themselves out. I'm going to vacuum the pool, then go on storm patrol from the float! Not to worry, I will have plenty of cold beverages, and will vacate for lighting.
