Had light fog out the back windows at work late in the day. Chilly tonight, clear. Just overall not too cold, not too warm. Cloudy today.
Rained last night. Lows in the 30s and highs in the 60s over the next 10 days. Looks like Christmas will be warmer than usual. Enjoy your snow, fireplaces and woodstoves, wood, and yummy food.

Very mild - too mild for the time of year - and quite windy and grey here. Expecting heavy rain tomorrow, but no change of temp over the week ahead. The wind is blowing from the Azores apparently.

supposed to rain all day, then wind warning starting this evening and lasting several days ( this is like 50 mph winds, we get them every winter) , then snow tomorrow, then more cold, down to 15 degrees

38 now, high of 67 later (for maybe an hour).
Lower 60's, windy, cloudy today! Rain starts tomorrow evening, rainy weekend, much needed!

13 degrees here this morning, I can see my breath in the house, even with the wood stove started ( it takes a while)

The rain chances start today! It's 57° at 4:30am, 60's today.
Just had a storm Monday with 4 inches of rain and wind gusts to 67mph. Tough storm.

Todays high was 40F, predicted to be in 50sF through the middle of next week.. We are predicted to have a ..Brown Christmas.. this year.. It happens occasionally, but the problem is there is also an extreme grass fire danger that goes with this..

Rained all day! Well, didn't start until late morning, but some nice rain!! Temp held at 57 all day!

I am always baffled by the winter solstice.
Today the sun has gone as far away from 'overhead' as it can.
Yes, I know the sun doesn't orbit the earth, but it's path overhead will now get even more overhead from today thru the next 6 months.
How can that not warm things up for us?

last year about this time it hit a low of -38F, today it was balmy and 42F with a low last night of about 22F. that's 56 degrees warmer .
