Just heard that there is a Big Area in the "Deep South" that is getting relief from some berry berry Cold frigid Weather today...!!! Sad News is that it will bee even Colder come Fri Am and it Starts 2morrow(Thursday Afternoon)...!! Will last this time too around Sunday AM...! Bundle Up those that need too...

Today started at 29ºF and the temps will be dropping all day long. By sunset today it will be 8ºF. Very blustery. Trees are swaying.

It's a misconception that Alaska is colder than Minnesota.

That's right for some areas of Alaska. Many times on the North Slope I've seen it above freezing in winter, doesn't happen often or last long, but it does happen. I've even seen it rain in Antarctica one summer. It lasted about 10 mins then turned back to snow.

Wife returned home from her trip this morning and did her magic - it is sprinkling rain!
Hasn't rained in 3 weeks, (probably 4) .
Hopefully it will boost the humidity in the house that has been stuck between 35-38%.
It will be nice to get out of my chair, without electrocuting myself.

I didn't see any such stipulation about Location when I joined, don't Believe there is one Now either...!!! If it becomes mandatory I'll Think about it...!!

So, based on what you wrote previously, I am going to assume that you live near Finger Lakes, NY and like to post weather information for southeast US. Great. Peace. It hit 54 for a high. Tomorrows high is 38. Winds up to 50mph overnigjt.

Well, DW had been up since 3:30am so she went down for a nap at 8pm and the rain stopped.
She got back up at 9:30pm and the bottom fell out with POURING rain!
1.20" in an hour, and still going!
