It was SO GOOD!

I have got to learn to make gravy! It's been next on my list for a while. Chicken fried steak sounds great.

Tonight was wings, potato salad and a green salad.

Don't think badly of me.......hamburger helper.........it was good!
I keep stuff like that on hand for nights we don't want much for supper. Hubby takes the leftovers to his shop fridge if he is going to be home at lunchtime in the next day or so. I keep heavy duty paper plates over there and he also has a sink and microwave, so a hot lunch is easy!

We do HH on a fairly regular basis. Nothing at all wrong with it. The cheddar cheese melt flavor is really good too!

I get the generic store brand stuff a lot though. The local store runs sales now and then, 5 boxes for $5. Can't really beat that...

Not sure what it was and I cooked. :p. Ground beef, taco mix, diced tomatoes and chilis, onions, green peppers, red beans and some kinda spice my DW got from the Senior Center, it smelled kinda mexican..

Needed some Nacho chips, but there were none in stock :)

A bit of tobasco sauce, shredded cheeze , a beer, and it feels like time for a nap

Mmmmmmmmmm!!

I browned some burger with thin sliced onion and fresh garlic then added a jar of spaghetti sauce. It was a lot better than my last attempt, pretty good actually.

Anyway, I had spaghetti and blackberry pie for desert. There's big gas station/service center down the road. They have tables in a corner and hot food. I'd heard there was a new lady doing the cooking. She makes pies at home. I bought a small container of pie yesterday.

This was old fashioned blackberry pie... sooooo good. Just like my mom and grandma made. Now I'm sitting here in a sugar coma! ;)

Taco chili?

Bean-free chili I made recently was excellent. Beans are no longer good for me. Sauce, can of chopped tomatoes and chilies, very low fat ground beef, lots of peppers, onions, healthy doses of spices. This was a new recipe for us and I think I’ll stick with it.
Last night we were with family and had salmon, sweet potato fries, Caesar salad, raw fruit, cookies.
Today I’m fixing lasagna with Italian sausage and lots of vegetables in it, salad, green beans.

Yesterday for Christmas I have avocado toast for breakfast and chocolate icecream for second breakfast.

I put a lamb and root vegetable pot roast in the slow cooker and then I grazed on stone fruit and caramel peanut corn until it was done.

I was going to have fruit cake with custard and sliced bananas for desert but I was way too full after the lamb.

I didn't even have my prawns but they'll be on the menu today at some point...possibly.

I think I now know what a python feels like after eating a goat....all you want to do is curl up, sleep and digest.

I tried an Tennessee Apple Whisky I've been wanting to try for a while.....yeah, nah....it's a bit sickly and I won't be buying it again.

Not a fan of the flavored whiskeys, they all seem sticky and fake.

Ham, corn, green beans and mashed taters, now I feel a coma coming on.
