Peanut I like green onions with most things. With steak and taters fro sure.

I was a young man and ate somewhere a green onion came with steaks. I still do it today (if I have them in the fridge). I use them in stirfrys and my hot n sour soup too. I like to cook with them.

Whoowhee!!! That burrito was good... even though the roll job was ugly, lol. I'm still watching 'T3' and it's such a funny movie, I haven't seen it in a while but I'm gonna watch it again later. Too many HILARIOUS lines in it! Anyway, here are the few remaining pics, I kinda rushed the job toward the end because I was hungry and I wanted to keep watching the film, lol. Just know that the mix is PRIMO, and quite tasty!!! Will post the recipe later with better shots!!! :)

After Pic #2, the tortilla & cheese get nuked, then the mix gets dumped on top... with leftovers, ya fill the tortilla and nuke the burrito, then add guac, sour cream, and some hot sauce for effect. Alas, this burrito was hastily & sloppily put together, lol, but y'all get the idea... back to my film, it's actually pretty darned good! Heaps of leftovers, I'll be macking burritos for days on end, lol. Downright delicious too!!! Ah, the sacrifices I make!!! Cheers!!!

Yesterday: Daughter fixed baked chicken, angel hair pasta, spaghetti sauce; favorite cucumber, onion, tomato salad with the olive oil vinegar mix, this time with fresh dill. The chicken was perfect. I seasoned it with salt & pepper and an Italian seasoning blend of herbs. Covered it tight, cooked it just over an hour.
Topped pasta and sauce with grated Parmesan.

I don't know yet, but I may need some mental help:p. :

Will be hungry... maybe frozen pizza??

Frozen pizza, chili spagetti, fried yak

I do not recommend the yak

but whatever you want

hamburgers, hot dogs, metts, the freezer is your oyster 😀

I had a crazy idea, but I'm out of hash-brown patties.
Dip one in egg like I was doing those freezer waffles and fry it, then cover it in gravy and a sausage patty.

Leftovers tonight, had the last of the gumbo. I did freeze 2 big portions for a rainy day.

Last night I craved meat and taters, had plenty of both.

When I eat a steak at home I like to chew on a green onion like a celery stick with wings. Am I the only person who does this? Something about green onions n steak together that is tasty, to me.

As a kid, green onions were a side staple for lunch and supper during the summer.

Everyone dumped a spoonful of salt on the edge of their plate. The onion was dipped in the salt, between bites.

it's Grilled pizza. The box had directions for cooking the pizza on the grill, so it shall be so.

My sympathies to the multitudinous spiders that took up residence there, but the chickens made short work of the escapees.

I DO THAT!! VERY GOOD! Now I don't feel so weird! Yeah I do!! I put the sausage patty under the "french hash brown", and throw some diced onions on top! GO MAGUS!!!

It's 2:30pm so time to start prepping dinner soon here. We are having a roast port, with roasted spuds, corn, peas and carrots along with lashings of pan gravy. I should be cooking it on the wood Aga, but it's spring here and we are just out of wood after a cold winter, so instead, it will have to be done in the gas oven. This summer we will have to cut and dry more for next winter, there is still a bit of good dry hardwood about, but it's so hard and in such big rounds when I hit it with the axe nothing happens. LOL Ill have to get the boys onto it.

Did a bit of cooking for a few dinners and the freezer yesterday. Chicken fillets made last night's chicken pot pie- (nothing like a pie when it's lashing rain out) 2 raspberry pound cakes to use up some sour cream, a tray of Almond slices (using up the last bits of pastry and ground almonds) and a pumpkin cheesecake; a recipe I found on Pinterest. also made chicken curry for whoever is home tonight, as I'm going out! been organised for weeks, with two girls I used to work with. Looking forward to the meal, and not washing up. In between lectures now, so breakfast was sauteed hard, scrambled in some egg, an end bit of kabonossi and the dredges of grated cheese and put it in a wrap. There are no bits of anything left over in the fridge :)

Chicken burritos! Just for the record, I'll be eating chicken burritos every night until I'm tired of 'em, lol... haven't reached that point yet, these burritos are MIGHTY TASTY! I even put some of my own hot peppers into the mix... DELICIOUS!!! :D

Note: This is also why I like cooking food in large batches! Not only can I enjoy leftovers which actually get BETTER after a day or two in the fridge, but I don't have to cook for awhile either, lol. It's a WIN-WIN SITUATION!!! ;)
