I also love, love sprouts... Never grew them, but frozen ones are OK by me...

Tonight was ...refrigerator surprise... night....
Microwave a couple small red potatoes.. The last of the left over Chinese in a box... Half a big white bread dinner roll left over from breakfast.. Both with blueberry cream cheese.. The last small hand full of Bugles corn chips.. A BIG ice cold Honey Crisp apple... A large cup of McDonalds unsweet tea with a packet of no calorie cherry flavor water bottle powder mix....

I used about half pound of the venison that was cooked in instantpot and added 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and some milk. Served it over mashed potatoes and boy, was that good! Wouldn't make a pretty photo, but tasted great! Will have leftovers today and tomorrow.

Bacon and cakes on the porch this morning. 🥓 🥓

That would be good on biscuits too!

Son is barbequing tonight...baby back ribs. I'll make side dishes to go with them.
I made ribs today also, in the smoker. The ribs turned out great, but I made a side of fried green tomatoes plus collards, baked beans and fries.
Well, this is the first time I have ever made fried green tomatoes. YUCK!! Hahaha, they are going to the chickens. I made them exactly how several recipes said to make them. They looked good, with nice and crispy breading, but ewwwww....they tasted like warm pickles. Just wrong

fried green tomatoes are blasphemous to lovers of homegrown vine ripened tomatoes !
