What "ONE" song best describes you, in the opinion of THOSE who truly know you and what you actually are......???

Desperado
Why don't you come to your senses?
You've been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
But I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you can't get
Desperado
Oh, you ain't gettin' no younger
Your pain and your hunger
They're drivin' you home
And freedom, oh, freedom
Well, that's just some people talkin'
Your prison is walkin' through this world all alone
Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the nighttime from the day
You're losing all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?
Desperado
Why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences
Open the gate
It may be rainin'
But there's a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you
(Let somebody love you)
You better let somebody love you
Before it's too late
That’s been a theme song of mine for many years. Might even be how others see me. All I know is it fits.

a close friend that i hunted and adventured with across north america once told me that every time he heard this song he thought of me....lord we had some crazy adventure he and i....one time in Quebec....well never mind...lol...we had fun!..pack of dogs and just us two.

Truly know me? On the face of this earth at this time? Living? I don't know if there is anyone. They can try. :good luck:
especially when the a/c is out...lol

A dear old college buddy of mine visited Alaska last few weeks and spent time with camping around this great state. He has also visited me at previous stops in my life. Discussion somehow got to this topic and here is the song that he said described me to a T.

Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes
Jimmy Buffett

I took off for a weekend last month just to try and recall the whole year
All of the faces and all of the places wonderin' where they all disappeared
I didn't ponder the question too long, I was hungry and went out for a bite
Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum and we wound up drinkin' all night

It's those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same
With all of our running and all of our cunning
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

Reading departure signs in some big airport reminds me of the places I've been
Visions of good times that brought so much pleasure makes me want to go back again
If it suddenly ended tomorrow I could somehow adjust to the fall
Good times and riches and son-of-a-bitches I've seen more than I can recall

These changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same
Through all of the islands and all of the highlands
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane

I think about Paris when I'm high on red wine I wish I could jump on a plane
So many nights I just dream of the ocean, god I wish I was sailin' again
Oh, yesterday's over my shoulder, so I can't look back for too long
There's just too much to see waiting in front of me and I know that I just can't go wrong

With these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same
With all of my running and all of my cunning
If I couldn't laugh I just would go insane
If we couldn't laugh we just would go insane
If we weren't all crazy we would go insane
