Laundry day and game day at Church this afternoon. Making deviled eggs so there will be something I can eat at snack time. Also eBay, of course.
Got up extra early and canned 21 pints of salsa and 11 pints of chopped tomatoes. Went into work, then errands, now home for lunch and to do animals and clean up my mess in the kitchen. Then back to work till late.
just finished all the onions we are doing today. got them down to 1 case. will make onion relish tomorrow. we are TIRED.
this is unfortunately all to real today. My rant for the day: Regarding last night's dinner conversation with the twins (in 8th grade) about their 2nd day of school. Granddaughter said their "social studies" teacher is back at it. She had the same teacher in 6th grade. She used the whole hour long period to discuss President Trump and what a moron he is. She showed the video clip of Trump announcing the new Space arm of the military. The teacher has an issue because she is convinced he is only doing this (billions of dollars) to contact aliens. Husband then explained about our military present day...Marine, Air Force (presently handles space), and Army. Army used to be Air Force combined. Then air tech became too big and it's a separate entity. Now Air Force is too big and space needs a separate entity. Husband has been working in space technology all of his adult life. That teacher is an idiot. Social Studies now means anything a liberal idiot teacher wants to indoctrinate kids in.

I was with a friend today when she called her pharmacy concerning this recall and she was told Kroger's thyroid tablets are not being recalled.
oh my!Last month it was HP diuretic med HCTZ they recalled. I threw a whole new bottle away.
@Meerkat you should be able to take it back to the shop your purchased it from for a full refund if it is a safety recall on the medication. At least here that is what they do.
@katlupe you can get surge protectors to plug into your power socket and then plug your electrical equipment into that which is supposed to stop power surges that blow your electrical equipment. Look into this and get some advice to see what is best for you if you have a close friend who is an electrician.
Started off the morning with helping a friend who is having problems financially since her husband has been unable to work due to previous injuries catching up with him. I went over to show her how to list her homemade jewellery online on eBay and how to price her items so she allows for her time for making them to help bring some added income into the home. She has been a SAHM for about 17 years now and has no qualifications or work experience. We got her first listing done by her with my help and I have given her some tips on how to take photos and present her homemade jewellery and how important presentation is. I hope she has some sales to boost her confidence and most importantly bring in some extra income into the home.
A surge protector is a layer of protection. It is not 100% protection.@katlupe you can get surge protectors to plug into your power socket and then plug your electrical equipment into that which is supposed to stop power surges that blow your electrical equipment.
