we have several cats around and every once in a while a mean cat comes around. Sometimes they are just hungry and try going thru our garbage.
But our cats come first so I keep a live trap handy and bait it with some canned cat food and trap the bad cat... Usualy a time out for most of the night cures them of coming around...In the summer they get a free bath before I let them out of the non harming trap.
The ones that wander into my live trap get spayed/neutered, gives em somethng to think about. Still have one too smart for me so ffar.

This one has also terrorized our neighbor's cat and killed two kittens at the neighbors. He really needs to go to the train station.
Got two new super heavy duty 100 ft hoses that amazon delivered. Bright green, too, so they don't get run overed by the lawn mower. Just tried one of them out.

North, north west breeze today.. At 75/50F today and through the weekend.. Fishing opener at midnight Friday night, Saturday morning.. Some of the lakes area to be windy and stormy.. Also because of winter and such a shortage of a popular walleye minnow bait this year..

...Fishing Widows, Mothers Day weekend.. neighborhood garage sales this weekend.. Went to a few of the ones open early this afternoon.. Didn't find anything special... yet... Will hit a few more sales tomorrow..

Reading Candy class book to see what I will be making next.
I do believe it will be Snickers, Milk Duds and Cherry Mash.
Which I will post over on Candy Recipes thread.
I am posting them as I am doing them in class.
Sipping coffee, watching Weaving cloth the Anglo-Saxon Way.
Reading forums, coffee.
Is the Anglo-Saxon video a documentary? I’d be interested in seeing it.

I’ve been totally useless today. I think yesterday’s graduation was too much for me. I’ve been extremely sluggish today. Tomorrow I’m going to a very large plant sale with a friend and my hubby. I need some hostas.
I've been useless today too , started getting very stressed while packing and had some vodka .....then argument with husband because he can't just tell me " you have to turn off your phone and then back on when you get to Europe for it to work" but half hour worth of tech talk I didn't want to hear....

Yes, it is.
It's quite interesting.
It was recommended by a fellow knitter I know personally here in Missouri.
It's on YouTube.
Another item you might like is Weaving Cattail Baskets-Peasant art craft.
I just like to learn old world skills.
Then I pass that knowledge down to my grandchildren too

I don't know Russian or Ukraine at this point in time.

yumm!! I have made snickers before, be interesting to see if you have the same recipe. I try to not make it, we eat it all and it has a gazzillion calories

Got the yard mowed, then went and picked up some chinese takeout for supper. Finally made it to the front porch for a glass of Brandy and a nice stoogie.
We are going to a re-enactment tomorrow in Ewing Virgina. Daniel Boone Period. It's always a lot of fun. If anyone is interested, read a little history of "The Raid on Martins Station". In the area there is a Buffalo farm we usually stop and take a look at.

A small milestone today ... the new big picture window was installed in the master bath. Now they can finish tiling and get the big 71" free standing tub installed, but not for a few days at least ... the plumber will do it, and he ha alot of other stuff that needs installation as well.

The company also installed a new kitchen window, which looks great. Old one was all fogged up, like many of our original windows.

Called 3 Day Blinds to come so we can order blinds for the window ... not that we need the privacy ... the view is of our fence on the side yard.

Probably another month before it's all done.

Worked on little chicken coop- just have to put the lid on it but had to ask Hubby best method for cutting it 😬. Hopefully tomorrow the chicks will be in it and out of the summer kitchen 🙏
Seeded a few more things. Returned the extra materials from coop - plan change. Mowed the lawn. It was 82 today so I smelled good 🙄 so took a shower then practiced with my new thumb thimble that arrived from the Netherlands today 😊. It’s fun - I have to get used to it. I can see how it will be useful as soon as the operator error is remedied 😅

Whoa, 🤔 just mowing, or weed whacking too!?? We mowed this evening too, I'm tired!!

I stayed up all night-- unintentionally. Power had gone out earlier and it messed up my sleep schedule a bit. Mom is still feeling cruddy and I haven't been feeling great. Ended up sleeping most of the day, but I did get up to cook for Mom. Will probably have to get food for her again soon if she's not feeling nauseous.

Need to work on moving stuff in the front room to get to the sliding glass door. Right now there is a cat condo cage thingy right up next to it so kitties can sit in it and look out. Mewlatto seems to really like it. It was originally for Temjin and Namir. There's also a baker's rack in the way. Will have to see how the weather is tomorrow because I need to cut some weeds and to haul some stuff away from the sliding glass door on the outside. There's an old ruined mattress out there and I will have to hook it to my truck to tow it away rather than risk lifting it and finding snakes. Then we need to haul the old freezer outside and go pick up the new one.

Boo just came in and plopped himself down on my lap. Ginger is now climbing on my arm and licking his forehead in the hopes he will reciprocate. She loves having her forehead licked by other cats.

animal care
then clean the house and do one last load of laundry
Stressed enough to have a glass of wine last night AND a gummi to sleep.....2 days clock is ticking LOL
Now I read there is a solar storm that might mess up electricity, radar and other stuff. I sure hope it doesn't mess up the plane Monday

Haha. My hubby does that, too. He can’t just get to the point. It is pretty annoying but I try very hard to be patient.
