I could list the usual stuff but it gets redundant. On top of that I had a zoom meeting with my occasional employer and he offered me a couple upcoming jobs. One is a week long in late June babysitting a VIP and the other is for a week in July on foreign soil but it pays quite well. I took em both. Should cover my expenses through September or so.

Sourdough update Sonya!! Unexpected day off, my Monday couple are still having problems. He is in the hospital again, they have a niece staying at the house. I will clean for them later in the week. Going to trim Buddy's hooves this morning, clean his water trough and Bear's pool. I'll also spray vegetation killer on the back fenceline and a few other places! Always a long list, so no telling what I'll do after that! Hubby needs a haircut and Bear needs a nail trim!
sourdough turned out great, I need to download the photo, texture is perfect and it looks even better then the yeast bread
I put in: bread flour, starter, sugar , salt, butter, and a little bit of buttermilk powder

update on the yukon: the guy at the autoparts store tested the relay and told me it was not exactly working right, but I had to go to the chevy dealer to get another one , we will see if that adid fix it, it started right up, but then again it started right up yesterday also. So now I am debating on if we should take it to the market this week or take the Traverse which is ok but really not big enough

and, no rain! It went around us as usual

it is also very hot out and humid, yuck

I did a dumb.

I rode my electric scooter to the store. Bought 3x as many groceries would fit in my backpack, and crammed some butter and tea in my pockets. Then I went riding home after stuffing everything but a bag of chips in.

If you lived on that route and were looking outside at the right time, you'd see a man with his pants down to his calves with his legs spread to keep the overloaded pockets from falling down, as I scoot by with handlebars in one hand and a bag of chips in the other, wearing a oddly shaped backpack full to the brim with groceries.

But I made it home with all my stuff.
We need video documentation to prove this is a true story - pleeeeease 😂

Are meds from new doc kicking in yet? Feeling any better?
I can walk again, but my feet feel like I've been standing for hours when I try.
I've never had a gout attack like this, its lasted 6 weeks now!

An unproductive Monday ...but I dont care

Tomorrow I will be gone for grocery for a long ride
Yup! Highway to find and get what I want
Oh well ...after that I will be good for 2 to 3 weeks

Tomorrow will be very warm and humid 🤬
and scattered thunderstorms..hopefully breezes
Gonna be 3days of hell...anyway

Shiraz sipping🍷

So....good night

The poor quality and high prices for the bathroom vanity - or any other premade stuff - made me so angry I refuse to buy it. I bought an antique dry sink stand, and am going to add a sink and faucet and use it as a bathroom vanity.

Today was busy and stressful, but worth it - the contractor was able to come today and put in my minisplit, and my brother came and finished the electric for it so it is installed and working! Such a blessing, the heat was making me sick and it was so difficult to work. Downside is that I wasn't quite ready, as he was due later this week, so I had to quickly empty the closets that the lines were to be run through. Everything got dumped on my bed. I might end up sleeping in my chair tonight. But I'll be cool! So glad he was able to do that today, the next few days are going to be brutally hot and humid.

Well, this whole day was shot… At 10 I had to take mom to the er, fluid build up causing chest pains. Not the first time this has happened so there was no thought of calling 911. Just loaded her in the car and went to town. Took 3hrs to decide to keep her overnight. 2 more hours before a rm was ready. I’d left dad at home, hoping he’d stay there… Nope, not happening. He insisted on driving to town and came to stay the night… So we had to play musical vehicles, got it figured out. I’d requested a cot for him. Haven’t heard otherwise so I guess they’ve settled in for the night.

Got a deal on pulled pork. Stopped on the way out of town and got a half pound for sandwiches, $6. Except when I got home and opened the box there was 1 1/2 pounds. Guess I’ll be eating bbq sandwiches for the next 3 days. Tonight my legs and back are killing me… I’m not used to walking on hard floors for hours. 90% of my walking is in the woods and fields.

Got a big rain just as I got home, over an inch. I spent a half hour in the shop waiting for it to slow so I could run for the house. We needed the rain so I’m not going to complain too much. No plans but tv...

Your father is doing what seems right. Let him.

At least he will not be running a tractor when you aren't looking. ;)

sorry to hear Peanut. ER is no fun these days (or any day really)

I went out today to get my paint can contents shook up again. Ended up not painting.
Went to grocery to dispute an incorrect ridiculous overcharge that I didn't look at until today (from Saturday). When it was rung up I said whaaaa...that seems awfully high! The checkout clerk, a young girl, shrugged and didn't offer to look into it. I was in a hurry so paid no further heed. I got my receipt out today and saw that I paid $12 and some odd cents for an item from the produce section called a Buddha Hand.

Not just one, but four, I bought four Buddha hands, for a grand total of $51 and some odd cents. Back to the store I went. Young woman at customer service scanned the limes which I had bought four of and they rang up as Buddha Hand, $12 each. Limes are 4/$1.

today, not sure yet, there are so many things to do I have to prioritize
just put in a load of laundry
I think the second CDT shot for the goat kids today, not my favorite but way overdue. I wonder if they will still work being almost a month late.
Plus watering the garden. No rain
Need to weedeat one section of temporary fencing so we can put the sheep in it. It has lots of trees and in this heat they will like it in there

so what are you trying to tell me?! I couldn't switch out any of the other ones, they are all needed
and the battery is at full charge

well, we will see if it does it again. It did it a few months ago once, then twice last Saturday, nothing since
maybe starter gradually going bad?

Yesterday Mom finally got up to go to the store with me. I lugged her wheelchair into the pickup bed and headed out. Stopped for mail. Packages were for me but Mom wanted to peek inside them so I told her to go for it.
She wanted some kind of omelette from IHOP. I tried their pot roast. It said it was supposed to have potatoes but it didn't and it was a very small portion, but it tasted good and was tender.
It started to rain so I had to run out and put a tarp over her wheelchair. Seat got wet but I got her a cushion for it so her butt stayed dry. Pushed her all around the mall from store to store. Had to stop to sit down a couple of times from legs cramping. Couldn't find anything in Cato Fashion like we did last time. Little shop called Rainbow had some stuff. A couple employees in there had brightly colored hair. Stopped to get a drink at Totally Tea. They had free samples of a mixed fruit drink and I ordered one. It was good. Found more stuff in Burlington and then popped in to In Style which is where my brother got his suit. Mom saw a belt she liked but she didn't like the buckle. Employee said she could change it out to any buckle Mom wanted for free. She picked a gold eagle one (eagle was my high school mascot). She made sure the belt fit Mom before we bought it. Really nice lady.
Stopped at Walmart near the mall but couldn't find specific things Mom wanted so had to go to the Walmart in our own town. On the way Mom kept knocking her purse down into my leg space and interfering with my driving and I missed a speed reduction because of it and got a ticket. Cop was nice about it and said he'd give me a ticket for something lesser since I was polite to him and pulled way over to make sure he was safe standing next to my vehicle.
Mom wanted a mocha frappe from McDonalds and I got a chocolate shake. I figured I burned enough calories pushing her wheelchair all over. LOL.
She ate her leftovers from IHOP on the ride home.
Got back and we showed my brother what we got. He had to try on all of the stuff Mom got except for the shirt.

I normally hate shopping but this time wasn't so bad.

Unloaded the wheelchair and set it near the door with brakes on to help Mom get up the steps, unloaded stuff from the truck, put groceries away, fed kitties, and rescued Rupert off a high shelf that he couldn't figure out how to get down from after he knocked nearly everything off of it.

Didn't even realize what time it was and now I'm serving as a bed for Mewlatto again.

Oh, I stopped to take pics of the biggest rainbow I've ever seen before. Phone spazzed when I tried to take shots without powerlines and obstructions though. So those pics didn't get taken.

I'm going to grab something to eat and then try to nap until UPS gets here with Mom's insulin.
