Some of my first baths were in a tub like that before we had running water.
I was the same way. On Friday morning we would draw water and carry it to the tub around back of my grandparents house. The sun would warm it up and we would fight to be first!

I want to do that type of look in some place, at some time. Heck even thinking of doing similar here if I ever redo anything.
Wife and I are building our whole house like that. The sawmill has our lumber ready so the next stage is ready to start.

0336 AM, sitting in MSP airport, waiting to fly out to Cali again for work. The good news is, we should get out of the crap hole called San Jose, And move down to San Luis Obispo in a couple days. I'm heading down to the ocean when we get there...
I miss hanging on the beach! Hang 10 for me.

Do you have an eBay business? If so, what kinds of stuff do you sell?

Yes, and pretty small one. Mostly clothes as they are easiest and least expensive to package and ship. Our user name is mikgene which would lead to our little store.

Went to watch grand daughter at 0430 hours this morning.(sigh) Found out mom was off today.
So went to Walmart picked up a few fresh vegetables; mushrooms, celery, grape tomatoes, mozzeralla cheese, etc.
This was approx. 0530. Came home put groceries away. Got sleep shirt and shorts back on went back to bed.
Just getting up for the second time today.
Redressed, Strawberry has been outside several times.
Balmy day, little bit windy.
Got the kitchen table just about cleaned off again.
Added water to the yellow roses I received from son and grand daughter( Estelle) for Valentine's day.
Talked to special friend (male) on phone.
He's at Walter Reed Hospital for a while.
Talked to Estelle's mom(grand daughter's mom) her sister's surgery is today.
They are amputee her leg today. At the hip.
She was in wreck few years ago.
Two tractor trailers hit head on, she was in little car in middle of collision.
Both drivers went to sleep, smashed her.
Making pot of coffee, reading on here for a bit.
Would like to kick back and relax all day.
But got several projects need finishing in sewing room.
Have Estelle tomorrow and Saturday.

Stuck on the couch again with my jail guard hovering. My allergies have been horrible all week and last night I started wheezing. Had a low fever this morning so my jailer made me visit the Dr. She doesn't think its pneumonia again, yet, but sent me in for x rays to check my lungs. I'm grounded until the results are in and Doc decides what to do. On the up side....I have chicks hatching.

Finished building a critter proof strawberry patch. Looks like a corral! Lol

Them strawberries are fearsome beasts!
*grins*

*sigh*
Why do issues run in multiples?
First battery issues.....and now break light issues.
The break lights now stay on even when the car isn't running.
Thank goodness for Mr Google Pants!
I just punched in "Break Light Issues" for my make and model
and Mr Google Pants spat out a whole laundry list of possible problems and luckily for me, fixes!
I've been methodically working through the list all morning trying to isolate the real cause of the issue.
I located and checked the fuses and they look good.
I have to unscrew the tail light assembly and check the bulbs for corrosion and see if the base of the bulb needs
cleaning or replacing.
I located the break light switch in the drivers side foot well which is a known issue in my model and I'm leaving that to last.
I'm going to have contort myself into a pretzel to swap that out with a new one.
I did find a new part for under $20 plus shipping costs on-line which is a heck of a lot better than what the dealership were going to charge me.

On YouTube I found a tut. on how to remove and fit the new break light switch part for my exact model with a list of tools I need.
Awesome stuff.
I play the tut. on my laptop in the car as I'm doing the work so I have a guide right there to help me through.

I've had to ring up my surgeon's office to make another appointment because the part won't arrive in enough time to make the car
road worthy enough for the 2+ hour trip to the big smoke.

Fixing the car with the help of Mr Google Pants and YouTube has saved me thousands of dollars and has given me a lot of confidence.

Its been raining and overcast all week so it’s been inside chores. I had 2 software subscriptions expire so that cost me $107. I discovered I didn’t have the proper drivers for my printer. It was only a month older than my new Dell. When I hooked it up last spring Win10 downloaded a Cannon printer ap and it printed fine.

Yesterday I discovered that win10 could see my printer but the printer couldn’t see win10. At least the driver and software package I downloaded for Cannon was free. I put in new ink cartridges today and ran the printer through all of its self-cleaning cycles.

I discovered the scanner function of my printer is far superior to my last one. I’ve been resorting my box of old photo’s this week and scanning a few onto my computer. I also ran my serious software utilities and got win10 running smoothly. I even blew all the dust out of the desk tower. Computer maintenance is now over. :)

Hard to believe I've been sick with Type A Flu for 3 weeks today.:hammock:

Took wife to doctor today... yep... she has Type A Flu now , after being close to me for 3 weeks.

I was hoping she had missed it.

Now we are stuck inside for at least another 3 weeks.:doghouse:

Jim:ghostly:
Y'all take care.

Doc said its bronchitis so I'm back in familiar territory. Kid said I'm still grounded so I guess I'll be stuck on the couch all weekend but that's ok. Beats pneumonia again!

5 chicks out so far, 1 more half way out and 4 more eggs pipped. Now if we can just get some hens out of this batch we will be good.

Feel better, Terri. Sorry you're sick again. I just filled up the small incubator here yesterday, so we'll see. Our son's dog got into his run, took out two hens, injured the rest including the rooster. But I have 7 pullets that are good sized in our front room to give to him. He's had bad luck. He put in 45 eggs in his big incubator, and the temp or something was off. No hatchings, but partially formed. So he just ordered two new thermometers with humidity readings on them and he's getting ready to try again. Take out tonight, because husband doesn't want a smoothie. We have to be at the hospital early morning for the spine doc to withdraw some fluid out of his cyst, and inject some steriod. He's a bit nervous. Or it's just a good excuse not to diet tonight.

My allergies have been pretty bad since last week I started coughing yesterday, had a fever this morning and met the Dr as he opened the door. I'm not fooling with this stuff. I hate being sick.

Out of our last 3 hatching we have had 4 pullets. I don't know what's up with that but it sure is annoying.

Having spinal fluid pulled is a pretty good reason to break a diet. I'd be a nervous wreck!

Part Time is a post Obama phrase for "no benifits!" Companies love it!

Morning meeting. Lunch meeting. Afternoon meeting. Supper meeting. I am all meetinged out. My lights are arguably on but there is no one at home.doing a quick scan of posts and then calling it a night
Rest up, Mon. Tomorrow is a fresh day. I think I'll go fishin!
