I hate daylight savings time. HATE IT. The dogs did not care if the gov't wanted to control our sleep schedule or not. Neither did about half of the kids. 😠

Other than that, just another Sunday. The house is full of people taking turns getting clean and dressed, eating breakfast, and readying themselves for church. Then we will have lunch, clean up, take the dogs for a walk, perhaps watch a movie and play some board games. Lazy Sunday, the way it's supposed to be. 😎
 
Not particularly a fan of daylight savings time either.
I don't have real good sleep pattern at best of times.
I'm up dressed of sorts, sipping coffee.
Strawberry has been let outside to take care of her business this morning.
She's laying here beside me snoring.
Some day I might have to get bigger recliner, so there's room for me, grand daughter and Strawberry .
So we can all get comfortable in Granny's recliner.
Nah, kinda like it right now cause this Granny gets to cuddle grand daughter while she and Strawberry sleeps on Granny's lap.

160 pulse rate.

Won't come down.
If it hits 180.. the defib will kick me.

Hope they find a solution, cause I feel horrible.

Godspeed brother. I will say a quick and powerful prayer for you.

Jesus is your healer. Jesus is your protector.
 
I will not be going home until tomorrow.

By the time I got to VA I was in trouble.
I walked into ER and they swarmed me with an awesome team .
They went to work immediately.
Wires and tubes all over.
At this time my pulse rate was 178 bpm.
after many meds, 2 IVs going, 7 people over me, they slapped this big metal plate on my chest and one my back.

I knew what was coming.

they shocked my heart with 999 bazillion volts.

OMG..never had anything like that.


But my heart dropped to 70 bpm.

They sent me to Carbondale Memorial hospital for heart cath, and testing, will go home tomorrow if no other problems.

Thanks to all for the prayers. They worked.

l Am feeling good much better. Cardiologist told me ten more minutes and I wouldn't have survived.

We took supper out to my mom and dads tonight and visited for a while. I've been afraid to go around them while I've been sick and take a chance on passing something on to them. It was good to get to spend some time with them again.

Jim, We can't turn my backs for five minutes and you go and get yourself in trouble. So glad you are now okay. Take it easy and get you well! Will be sending up a prayer with your name on it even though I'm a little late to the party.

@MoBookworm1957 Estelle and Strawberry in your lap - must be the luckiest Granny in the world :)
 
I washed my car today- the real way, not the drive through. I actually prefer to wash it at home as I do a better job than the machine.
Also cleaned out two flower beds, dugs, pulled miles of crab grass, planted a few bulbs between the existing plantings. Cleaned the rest of my lavender from last fall and have it jarred. I made hubby a batch of oatmeal monsters (his fav.) Was hoping to get the summer kitchen cleaned out so I can start hanging laundry back out there on the line rather than on the clothes here in the house.

It was scary, I've had two heart attacks an my heart is really in bad shape. My ejection fraction is only 20%.
I started feeling bad about ,10am , at church.
Had bad feeling in chest.
Wife took me home so I could ly down.
Didn't help , bpm was 158.
25 mins later it was 162, that can kill you.
So we left , wife driving and upset, for VA hospital,
1 1/2 hrs away. It was 172 when I got there, it hit 178 just before they shocked me. That really hurt. NO...I mean BAD.

Bpm immediately was 70.

I was very fortunate, close call.

Lots of prayers helped.

Been feeling good since.

Bpm now is 67.

I'm hungry, tired , and bored.:)

Thank God your wife was there to drive and take care of you Jim. But if it happens again call an ambulance just to be on safe side.

Wow, Jim. Just read this. You've had a day! Glad you're better, but sorry you're bored. Prayers for you!! Get better!!
Had dinner with lovely daughters. One is working ER Pharmacy for 3 more weeks on a rotation, and is enjoying it, but of course, making us nervous. Don't like this time change. 5 am is going to be early.
 
Got a text from my fathers neighbor. Apparently my current step mothers appendix ruptured last week. She had been back home for about 36hrs when she had to be rushed back to the ER. The Dr said she had air under her skin across her abdomen and up her left side, extremely low potassium levels and an infection along with a possible perforated colon.

I'm so glad your doing better. Did they put you on any meds? The kids heart does that (250+bpm) and its terrifying.
