Baked some bacon, grilled dinner, watched the Macy fireworks. Now I listen to the neighborhood celebrations
Now that you mentioned it...the remodeled bathroom makes the hallway look dated...Me and my big mouth.
I said that vanity cabinet would look much better if it was white.

Don't tell her that.
Jim
...and the hallway leads to the living room...
That would be a yes Jim.Guess what I got to do today....
Yep , put 3 coats of white paint on a bathroom vanity.
Still got 5 drawers and 2 doors to do.
I hate to paint.
At least it's inside work.
@MoBookworm1957 , can I ask you if your feet and legs are sore to touch?
I am really concerned about the swelling.
Thanks Patchouli,My feet used to bother me really bad every summer. Thought it was because of injuries years before. Maybe it was my heart then? They're fine now.
Growing up and ageing process, it's not for sissies.
@MoBookworm1957 I hope you have a great day with big girl. Put feet up when you can.
That would be a yes Jim.
Especially later in the day.
I have an appointment to see cardiologist on the 3rd of August 2020 at 1300 hours.
Surgeon, and Hematologist are concerned also.
I don't normally eat salt.Until then,
Stop or at least try to eliminate salt/sodium from you diet.
I'm not a doctor, but my best friend is a trauma surgeon, and over the past 40 years around him I've picked up on some physiology.
Try it for a while just to see if the swelling gets better.
Jim
I don't normally eat salt.
Don't like the taste or texture.
Only buy low sodium or no sodium canned vegetables.
Or eat fresh vegetables.
Only time I crave salt is when my iron count is really low.
My physician once told me that some people are sensitive to salt (increases blood pressure, etc.) and some aren't. He said if you aren't one of the sensitive ones, then it's pretty harmless for you. I tried using more salt, as a test, and found that I'm not sensitive. But I didn't care for the salt (I much prefer pepper!), so I cut the salt back again. For most of my life I've never added salt to anything, but not been particularly concerned about salt content that's already in foods. Some things are just gross with the amount of salt put in them. Potato chips are one such thing. I usually buy the lower salt version. And for things like nuts, I buy unsalted.
However, recently I have found that all salt is not equal. The standard Morton's Iodized Salt that most of use have had around the house since childhood is quite tasteless. It's just salty. Very easy to give that up. But other salts do indeed taste much better. I had some coarse ground Kosher salt that I bought for cleaning my cast iron skillet (it works very well for that!) I tried adding some of the Kosher salt to steak before grilling, along with fresh ground pepper, and wow, did that come out good. I have also had good results with Sea Salt and Himalayan Salt (all coarse ground). It may be he grind I prefer, not necessarily the type of salt. So I've begun using these more than in years past. Fresh coarse ground salt and pepper on eggs is good. But I am one of the lucky non-sensitive people, and my physician gave me the go-ahead if I wanted to use salt. I still prefer pepper by a wide margin, but I am no longer anti-salt. It does add to some things. There are a few things that call out for coarse salt to me. Brocolli. Brussel sprouts. Fresh sliced tomato. Eggs. When I think about it, I guess those are the only things, nothing else comes to mind right now. Oh yeah - and grilled steaks! Oops, how could I forget corn on the cob (that needs butter and pepper too!)
Jello sugar cookies...
Jim ...you wouldn't be going thru West KY by chance?
