going to finish the rearranging project, the freezer room is done, I just need to clean up the livingroom. We have one extra freezer that doesn't fit.
Did shopping yesterday , wow Lowes was selling 100 ft extention cords for $99, that's crazy! I am going to order them online. We need to replace the old ones from the solar panels to the house
Hope all the goats are still where they are supposed to be this morning. We left everyone out since it is not that cold and not raining either. We really need some rain or we are going to feed half the hay we have before winter even starts
I wore my good hiking shoes yesterday to take care of the animals and today my foot feels better. I think I just need to not wear muck boots for a while

Jacob’s off to FFA National convention this morning.

Sa-weet! I might know a guy who might know a thing or two about 'Rocking the Nat FFA' back in the day...

Hope he has a great time! Little granddaughter and I enjoyed the FFA exhibit at the state fair here. Hoping she might want to join next year when she starts High School.
This is his 3rd year to get to go to Indianapolis, he is always so excited to go. It’s so strange around here when he’s gone. I guess we best be getting used to it though.

Mom was supposed to have a doctor's appointment today. As she was going to bed she grumpily said she didn't want to go. Doctor's office called this morning and said doctor had to go to a hospital in Alexandria in the afternoon and they needed to cancel her appointment. I said we'd reschedule once she woke up and I could discuss it with her. Told the clerk Mom didn't want to go today anyway so it worked out. Still need to go to HomeDepot to see if I can get the new door levers rekeyed. Hoping Mom will come with me so she can pick out a key for herself.

Heard from a friend that his precious kitty Salem got out and got hit by a car. She lived but had to have her jaw wired shut and he set up a gofundme for her vet bills. He's got about half the goal now. Hoping he can make it all the way. He doesn't have much $ but he loves his kitties. Don't think I'm allowed to share gofundme links here though.

I've been playing hidden object games and looking at tutorials on how to install new batteries in key fobs for the CRV. The batteries in both of the key fobs for the CRV are dead.

I should have thought of that. The vet bills for our mutt came to over $10,000 from when he got run over by the tractor.

Got up, worked out, cleaned up, locked up the valuables, started my laundry, ran a few errands, came back to find my Challenger buddy getting ready to leave, gave him a head nod and got a raised index finger in return since we are best friends, received the grocery order and put everything away, discovered our personal shopper doesn't know the difference between cheese curds and mozzarella sticks, let the cleaning crew in, found out two of them were at the holiday party I crashed, gossiped with them for like 10 minutes until the 3rd person - the team supervisor - put them back to work, filled my Halloween candy bucket, gave each cleaner a piece before they left, put things back in their place, the girl came home, I made us lunch and now we are watching another Marvel movie.

Needing to clean the main floor of the house, but husband is asleep in the recliner, so running the vacuum and mopping would be rude. So goofing off with coffee. Dug another bucket of sweet potatoes, picked two buckets of cherry tomatoes. A ton of boxes came in from Sams, husband ordered. Need to go thru those (and not save the boxes, ha). Lots of leftovers for tonight, so I'll just tweak them a bit. On with housecleaning.

Made it through another week of work. Fixing to get real serious about finding a job in Arkansas or Missouri. Never thought I would become a Yankee. Here in Texas I if you move North of the Red River you are considered a Yankee. If Ted Cruz (don't really like him but will vote for him) looses I am gone. Can't live in a purple state.
There are some people who consider Missouri to be Southern. This same person says I talk with a southern drawl. Nope, I live up by Kansas City, Mo.

Why is it women ...manage... mens stuff when they get into there ..nesting mood.. and not big bunch of ...shoes, purses, scarves... you name it on there 9/10 of the closet ?? Why is there never money for a fishing reel that will last for years, but the toilet gets matching rug, tank top, seat carpet 5-6 times a year ?? Why isn't there a medication for this ??

Don't get me started...
Not here it doesn't. I hate to shop.
I must not be a girly girl.
Thank goodness.

Not doing a dang thing for the rest of the day.
Last of the laundry in the drier now.
Groceries pretty much put away.
Not cooking today either.
Will work on housecleaning tomorrow or Friday.
Supposed to go shopping with my Irishman Thursday.
He seems to think I should own a "DRESS".
I have uniforms, Class A's, Dress Blues, jeans and T shirts.
I have a dress I wore 3 years ago to my oldest son's wedding.
That's it.
But now he thinks I should own an elegant dress.
I'm a casual type person now.

Yard work, went to the shop earlier. Having minor surgery on Friday for skin cancer on my arm. The biopsy came back positive so now they are going to bore a hole until no cancer shows up. Great. I guess it's better then dying. Hoping this isn't going to become a regular thing. Paying the price for a lifetime of surfing and being in the sun. :(

I have an emergency/ funeral dress.... Not sure if it even fits!!😮🤔

I dug my last box of potatoes today. A lot if small spuds due to a dry summer. Picked up and delivered meds and supplies for a buddy that had his big toe amputated last week. He has peripheral neuropathy and did realize he had an infection.

Behave

Ben

Prayers on the way UserName

Today I voted. Took a little over an hour; 45 minutes waiting in line, and 15 minutes to complete the ballot. Fingers crossed. I did my civic duty.

Got the downstairs cleaning done...except for a bedroom, even all the windows and screens. Enough until it's time to make dinner. Pup is no longer afraid of the vacuum cleaner. He sat and watched. Followed from room to room. Pretty funny.

Trash, reading, and naps, that 1/4 flounder from McBarfs may have mostly passed :)

I R not yet dead.
