This morning I've been overlooking the mess I made in kitchen last night.
Time for more housework.

He'll feel better, more normal without the nasal tube! Big step forward!!Feeding tube is in place and will be operational this evening! Came through surgery beautifully. Nasal tube is gone and he looks like his old self. He’ll be fighting fit before we know it.

but thanks for noticing!
Things will hopefully improve in February

Well.... that enameled cast iron cleaned-up nicely. I'll hang on to it. There's gotta be a good use for it - maybe as a parts cleaner.
Dishes are done and it raised the humidity in my house by a couple percentage points. Silver lining.
I've recovered from the physical damage, but the emotional impact lingers on. lol
Look for my next cooking episode to be posted in a thread titled: Old School's Cooking Fiascos.
Awake at 0430, coffee while staring at the moon...until my feet got cold. On yoga mat by 0510. Next shower and take kids to school, have early appt this morning and then my favorite... homework.
That's about the same as home. Our place is 75 miles north of here and 3,000 feet higher. That sounds amazing to me right now. It's about 26 out and lots of snow.
My Internet has been down too.Internet sucks today, must be snow in the lines
Don't expect much from me, Dial Up would be faster.
And @RJ2019 we ordered the pup’s collar online for the same reasons mentioned. We never put the dog’s name on the collar. Our last dog was very smart, people would steal him. This dog they probably wouldn’t want to keep . We train them with hand signals as well as voice and don’t want strangers to be able to call our dog (he needs to listen to us). Again current k9 is a bit more of a challenge . Anyhoo so just phone numbers on the collar, names don’t matter.@RJ2019 Going to toss you out an option. My wife (a vet) gets the dogs collars with their name and a phone number stitched in the collar.
Can lose a tag, can lose a collar. But it gives you a clue.
If you can’t find cheaper try Orvis.
