Just going to work! Rainy day, doing some house cleaning here at home later! Might fool around and bake something!!

Recovering from having a stomach flu for the past 5 days.

Going to my P. C. physician. Gotta see what the spinal - pelvic problem could be. Hoping to get an X-Ray & some Tramadol. It’s starting to affect my right leg. Trying to catch it early before it has a neg. draw on my mobility.

And yes I have Nu skin, but never used super glue , wow, didn't know you could do that!
Husband put up the wildlife camera and a trap in the barn up top where the hay is, to see what has been eating our pigeons. I wonder what we will find.
Need to go get potting soil to start my seeds, I am way behind.

The thing is , the dogs should have been getting that. It's been going on for some time. It would have to avoid the dogs , climb up to the top of the barn, and then get back out Plus, whatever it is ALL of the pigeon is eaten, just a bunch of feathers left. The racoon that got in the chicken coop some years ago bit the heads off and left most of the chicken ( why do they do that?)
PLus I have looked for foot prints in the snow around the barn when there was snow, and there was just nothing except dog and goat\sheep, and occasional rabbit
I am thinking something flying like a Hawk

It's warmed up to 12 degs here. Time to go out and get to work. I need to unload the lumber off my truck first, then fire up the snow blower and open the road a little wider. I'll go pick up another load of diesel and a get take and bake pizza from the Mennonite store.

Just got back from surgical follow up. The doctor was so pleased. Said dad is healing faster and better than his younger patients. Next visit with him will be two after the radiation is complete. In four to six months, he’ll be getting a partial lower denture.

I'm ready to hop in the shower. Little granddaughter and I did the animal chores, then reloaded a weeks worth of wood to the big covered porch. Storm coming in Wednesday morning. Refilled all the kindling, too.
Planning on spending some time in the basement, unless husband has me doing solar stuff. We'll see.

Have you ever tried super glue or nu skin on owies..

My Mom would use Super Glue for minor cuts....I don't think I ever got Super Glue poisoning!

Anyway, I just got back from the store, NOBODY has onion rings and I forgot buttermilk again. the back hatch on my Durango crapped out so I had to load all that stuff up in the seat with me and now my back is shot as usual, so I'm done until I get hungry. It's Asian week, so Dinner is Bok Choi and chicken egg rolls, steamed rice with peas and carrots, and what's left of yesterday's chow mein.

got back from shopping half hour late, there was a truck stuck on the road right before I had to turn on ours blocking the entire road! There was no way around it ( cliff then river below) , so I had to back up to a driveway , turn around and make a 10 mile or so detour to get back home
Prices same as last week , gas prices .20 lower than last week

Nothing in the trap in the barn, sardines uneaten. So most likely not a racoon. Haven't checked the camera yet

So we will not do anything about it. I love birds and there are less hawks than there are pigeons, so he can eat some of them....LOL

Today was apple tree trimming day. It was cold but I bundled up. Mostly working on a Franken-tree. I got away with some massive cuttings without damaging any of last years grafts.

I have been anxious to get the trimming done while the trees are still dormant. Between my bad shoulder healing, bad weather, and a week of the flu I have been delayed. I usually prune in December so I am a month and a half behind scheduled.

Getting a break from being the solar gofer and doer for husband. Mil just called him ha. He is doing some contraption set up he saw on youtube with a lifepo battery and inverter on a dolly. I have been measuring, testing, and putting down sticky treads on the dolly. I think next is drilling holes in the dolly for the inverter. We'll see.

No. Nowhere in this area does that. Texas roadhouse will do a free or discounted appetizer but no full free meals. Our favorite place is a buffet though and they can't afford to give out free stuff.

I wonder if they have changed the formula since then because super glue can get very hot when curing. My best friend's grandfather had a tube of superglue leak into his pocket. It got up to 120°F and gave him 2nd degree burns.

Went to sleep with some piano music playing in a loop on Youtube and Princess got up near the speakers to sleep. I turned it off this morning before I got breakfast. She followed me and wouldn't eat anything. Then she started pacing around and shivering. I put blankets over her but she kept shivering. She followed me to the bathroom and climbed on my lap. Then she made a b-line to Mom's room and wanted in. I let her in and she checked on Mom and then climbed on her. She sat there for a couple of minutes and then wanted to see my brother. So I let her in with him. He just let her out of his room and she's on the foot of my bed. Don't know what is up with her. I need to play the piano music more often though because it seemed to have a calming effect on the cats and it helped me sleep.

I'm going out to put the snowblower in the shop and call it a day. I'll transfer the diesel tomorrow. The temp is dropping fast as the sun is going behind some clouds. High temp today of 17 degs. Not bad for February.

Chilly overcast day outside, stayed inside and rested mostly, just routine chores. A cousin came by, he was headed to a cattle sale in mississippi. Darn, I’d have liked to go but with no notice it wasn’t workable. But, there was another newborn calf here this morning, big tiger stripe cow had hers. Both doing well, calf looked healthy. He makes #6 in the last couple weeks.

No plans this evening but tv...

He had a lower molar removed and it wasn’t healing. The oral surgeon did a biopsy to rule anything out. It, unfortunately, ruled cancer in. It was in his jawbone, gum, and 5 lymph nodes in his neck. On January 2, all of that was removed, replaced with titanium plates (actually looks more like a bicycle chain). Before getting radiation, he needed to have his last 5 teeth removed. Just waiting to find out when radiation starts.

He’ll be 90 in April @Magus .

Tonight I came home from work and he told to make up a menu and setup the ingredients where he can get them and he’ll make me supper for when I get home. All while navigating the kitchen with his walker.

I hope I’m half as tough as him.
