Just finished watching one of my favorite Bollywood movies, have it on dvd but it's on Netflix too I think. I miss Yash Chopra movies ( he was old and died) , I miss Sha Rhuk Khan in good movies ( he's still alive but hasn't been in a good movie in a while). Needed something happy to watch....

I finished binge-watching Vera. Then binge-watched season 2 of The Sister Boniface Mysteries. I'm currently catching up on the last season of Doc Martin. Watched the latest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. I like the series but the one thing I don't like is the Spock/Nurse Chapel thing. I think they didn't do well on casting for Nurse Chapel. She's the only one I don't like.

I couldn't believe that I never heard of this timeless classic! Amazing and abnormal movie. One that is thought provoking long after.

A couple teasers that immediately come to mind:

"trouble? Life is trouble. Only death is no trouble!" Zorba

"there's three kinds of men: those who turn food into fat and manure, those who turn food into work, and those who try to turn food into God." Sorta

The classic odd couple story between the laced up responsible and uptight and the free spirited. And makes you think about the balance you've practiced in your life experiences?

I watched that old movie 'LIFEFORCE' yesterday, the one about space vampires... ridiculously cheesy special effects, but a somewhat interesting concept. I'll probably watch another movie today, dunno which yet...

As I get older, I find I'm watching more baseball, tennis, golf.... Not sure what that says about me. Just something to have on in the background on a lazy Sunday afternoon, for example.

I saw SISU on a shelf at wally's yesterday, bought it...

It was enjoyable, but went way 'over the top' in a few places. Towards the end those moments actually got funny. They even remade the Slim Pickins scene from Dr. Strange Love, riding the bomb. Now that was funny!

I'll watch it again...
