couldn't sleep the other night and I got into a bunch of videos about cops stopping people on the highways and also cops booking people who had been arrested for various things... The freaked out druggys were the worst. ALso a bunch of people in cars that don't understand basic instructions. Seeing a few of these interactions makes me even more paranoid about any interaction with unknown people on the road or in pubic places.

Finished watching the first season of 1923 yellowstone. Disappointing. The first episodes had beautiful scenery and a fairly interesting story. Later, most of the scenery went away. Nothing left but a soap opera that became tiresome.

Watching pbs nature shows tonight.

I liked it in the beginning as well and then didn't see it for a while, waiting for new episodes. I just cannot get into the story line.

The 1883 story was enjoyable, an adventure. (but i had a problem with the story line math).

The 1923 story is the current yellowstone story, just set in 1923. Same ground, same battles with villians, lots of people getting shot but riding in Model T's.

I've been watching the Stud Pack channel on Youtube. They had Matt Risinger from The Build Show youtube channel on to help install a window. Paul hinted that Jeff Thorman might be in a future video as well.

Watched the season finale of Star Wars: Ahsoka. I'm really enjoying that show. It makes more sense after I watched Star Wars Rebels.

I watched that the other night. I found it so boring I went to sleep.

I'm watching Jericho tonight.
The movie or TV series? the TV show was "prepper candy".

Latest season of the Amazing Race on Hulu , covid episode, it got interrupted and some of them came back a few years later to finish the race , weird one
Been watching that show since it started, I wonder if they will keep going with it since the world is no longer open to travel the way it was before covid
I think I am going to sign up for Netflix. I was using daughter's but she cancelled it, so now all I have is free stuff ( son signed up for something he needed for school and the hulu came with it)

History Channel "Documentary:" The Great Martian War 1913-1917

A 2013 Canadian/UK made-for-television science fiction docudrama film, the film unfolds in the style of an episode from the History TV Channel. It is based on the 1897 science fiction novel The War of the Worlds, by English author H. G. Wells, and includes both new and digitally altered film footage shot from World War I to establish the scope of the interplanetary conflict.

Basically, if the War of the Worlds had happened, this would be the History Channel episode about it.

The film as presented is an alternate history of World War I: the European Allies (which includes the Germans), and eventually America, fight Martian invaders instead of Germany and the Central Powers....

Here is the entire film on Youtube. The first minute and thirty seconds makes a pretty good trailer for it:

Review: Pretty good. I enjoyed it. Frankly, more unbelievable than the Martian attack was the late entry into the conflict by the United States. If one thing would motivate humanity to unite immediately, it would be an attacking alien race from space. (I didn't like the conspiracy theory bit woven into it in the end. But, it was a very small bit of the whole, and I suppose that kind of makes it appropriate now, since we can't have a major world event these days without a conspiracy turning facts upside down.)
