I am starting to think that there MAY be an even greater possible threat to our rights, freedoms and liberties than gun grabbing and gun bans. I'm reading more and more about lefties, greens and their totalitarian chums. and that is PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF VEHICLES. All of those opposed to our current ways of life are moving in the same direction, Trying to force us out of our own vehicles and onto public transport / home deliveries.

Be they greens, envirnomentalists, socialists , you name them they have differing reasons but the same demands, BAN GASOLINE AND DIESEL vehicles on public hands, if you must be motorised then its massively expensive electricity powered cars of very limited utility, and many lefties believe that THEY should decide if YOU need a vehicle just like they did in the old USSR.

It is clear that some if not many players in this campaign like AOCs gang who openly state that liesure air travel and private cars should be banned, they CLAIM it is for ENVIRONMENTAL reasons but I firmly believe it is for CONTROL reasons ( they who control Transport and Logistics and Utilities control the people).

It wont be overnight we all know the left are patient and determined, but I believe a greater or at least as great a threat to our freedoms and rights is our ability to move and travel freely at our own will without regulation or control. listening to many of the Greenies and Lefties its clear they care NOTHING about damage to individuals or national economics, concerns dismissing warnings and concerns with promises of green related jobs to replace those lost.

We dont have a full blown gun ban, Hand guns are banned, Rifles and Shotguns are not, in the UK people shoot from .22LR to 50 cal, though I think people are steered towards bolt or lever action guns rather than semi autos. You have to apply and have good reason to own a rifle, hunting, sports, target and pest control OK, Self Defence NO. Anyone with no criminal record can apply for a shotgun certificate , They are now limited to two rounds now I think, there is millions of shotguns and many hundreds of thousands of rifles in the UK.

Gun crime is on the increase in the Uk rising roughly 20% a year, latest figures for UK 2019 show 33 people killed with a gun out of 70 million people. So if the UK had the same sized population of the US we would have had around 132 gun deaths in the UK. Gun crime rises in UK in last year with more than 9,700 cases reported

For sure our cultures are different but none the less the US is a far more dangerous place than the UK.

Not when they can raise fuel prices at the pumps to say $30 a gallon, they rebate the extra tax to essential trucking companies, Then they will hit car makers with massive environmental taxes perhaps doubling or trebling the cost of the average US gas guzzler, Then toll road taxation, then Congestion charges for entering cities ( many European nations already do that, London is about $16 a day). Old tyre disposal taxes, battery recycling charges, there are hundreds of methods of squeezing your pips til they squeek without ever getting near you in person.

Our Constitution tells American citizens (not illegals) that the government we have elected work for us. Not the other way around. The constitution is there to limit our government's powers, not the other way around. I know it doesn't seem that way sometimes, but there it is. Yes if you live in london or anywhere else you can own a gun or shotgun providing its for sport, pest control, hunting, etc so long as you have somewhere to legally shoot it.
